(If this is thewrong forum, I'm sorry). I had a metal robot when I was a child that I found outside in some dirt. He had plastic fists that could be pulled on to rev up spinning shields on his forearms. Once the shields were spinning fast enough, three blades would extend. There was also a knob on his bach that appeared to trigger a series of rockets to fire from his torso.
Any Ideas?

I got a loose Mekanda from ebay (one on the right in JWM's pic). No missiles. Question: Does the Leg missiles fire? & who has missiles to spare or sell?

OJA:
The leg missiles don't fire. the two holes are just for stowage. As far as finding missiles... yikes!

The large yellow or blue missiles for Voltes V work. They are pretty easy to find.

The large yellow or blue missiles for Voltes V work. They are pretty easy to find. I tried it. Does not work well. They fit the gun inside... But, the Voltes Missiles are too thick to go through the 4 holes in Mekanda's chest.

I just had an idea on the missiles. If someone has an ST Mechandar on hand (I say this because mine is boxed up and stored right now, and I don't feel like digging it out.) Get a measurement on the diameter of the missile. Then making replacements is a matter of finding a piece of dowel the same size. Then it would be a matter of cutting a notch of a size that would catch the trigger, getting the length right, and rounding off the nose end. You could use the chuck of a power drill as a makeshift lathe if you wanted to get fancy. Just a thought.

I had one way back in the day. Played with it till the blades broke off. Lol...that was the only thing on that robot that could break...it was a freaking tank of a toy!

Good to know if people have questions regarding robots there are people whom can help even without a picture! Coolness.
