Combattler V with box - Japanese

is it worth the price? is it too much for it?
I have already emailed the seller and we both agreed on a price now between me and the seller...so I need to know from the members who are really experts on this toy specially it is a dream to buy one of those...even though I'd rather the old 1st version but since this is the 2nd version according to a Japanee book that I use as a giude to help me in with few details about the old toys...which I hope it is correct
please write your answer below as soon as possible so I can make up my mind...I am still not sure 1000% but I am close to 99.999% so far that I want it...the reason I am asking is because I do not want to over pay for it by a huge fraction...please help!

The price seems fair enough, I've seem the same item go over 1,200 USD on YJ but that's in Japan and ppl bidding like crazy over there unlike here in the states.

But you do know that this is NOT the big size Combattler V right?

This one is actually smaller than the DX one.

It was a very small robot. I tho the price was little high. I think they are around $800-900 if its brand new condition. They were issued in the 80's not in 70's when the Combattler cartoon was released.

thank you guys for the help.........I've decided to pass on that toy since it is not exactly what I'd thought it would be in height.
