 It's been over a year since I began this thread, and I've yet to acquire a full set of the Popy DX Voltes V. Anyhow, I only need the Volt-Frigate-4 to complete the set. I've gotten close several times to getting one, but the chance has always somehow eluded me. Well, this week I came across a local vintage Japanse toyshop and bought this near-mint 1st issue PB-05 Volt Bomber-2.           |

Have you compared things for version 1 vs 2 differences? Obviously we have some yellow plastic...but have you noticed other things? Thnx for the new pics  |

Thnx for the new pics The color of the boxes are different with the first issue having a green background for the front picture and the second issue having a blue one. Click on photos to view larger version.  The apparent difference is the color of the elbows.   The colors for the stickers on the tail fin are different.   The background colors for the 2 and V-2 markings are different.   Well, that's all the pictures I can post for now. I left my camera and 2nd Issue Volt Bomber-2 at my storeroom. I'll try to get them tomorrow. |
