Got another one at a good price... It's from the Sentai series and it's called Galaxy Robo... Cool, isn't it?

I like really blocky weird looking robots or just far out designs like Gaislugger (Not a godaikin obviously) so I'm going for a big, cheap godaikin vehicle like Dyjupiter as my first. It looks chunky. I also like Abega but only because my brother had this when I was about six and I loved to play with it.

My first Godaikin was Gardian- cool design, I liked the blue metal, and the dead yellow eyes reminded me of T28(which at the time, was too expensive- still is). You also got three robots to boot. The only caveat is the knees, the damn brittle plastic in those knees.

My first godaikin is Voltes 5 and it is my favorite initially because of the fond memory of the series but later simply because of the toy's overall appearance and design. The next in line is God Sigma (also same reason as Voltes) and Gardian. Recently just purchased Tetsujin 28 but the robot is still on the way so I cannot really have opinion on that.

After a long wait (the parcel was LOST!), I finally got my Goggle V tonight!!! Mine is loose with no accessories but it does have the 2 fists, so the robot is complete, and I'm using missiles from another toy for the Goggle Tank.
W-O-W. For a toy that old, the transformation is really impressive and the die-cast content is fantastic! Hard to believe it's from 1982! When I opened the package, it was in robot mode. Not knowing the transformation, I got scared for a while. What, no wings? No wheel tracks for the tank? Imagine how pleased I was when I found out where all that stuff was! My best vintage purchase this year! I'm still amazed by the SOC-like little details like the connectors that disappear for the robot mode, the arms that extend automatically, the face that is well hidden, retractable landing gear... Seriously, that's a great combiner.
