What's the difference between Tetsujin 28 SG 01 & GB-24 (DX version)? What I mean is in term of height , die cast content and general appearance.

BIG Difference in all aspects!
SG is something like 16 inches tall, while GB is about 7-8. SG has all the removable body panels, internal workings, elevators, magnetic panels, articulated fingers, magnetic booster pack, accessory robots, pilots, and weighs around 4 pounds. SG is about 50/50 diecast/plastic. A lot of the main structure is plastic, but the magnetic body shell is diecast.
GB is more like a 'normal' gokin, weighing ounces instead of pounds, and with a fraction of the gimmicks and detail. It does come with that cool crane thing though. Like most gokins, in terms of diecast, GB is almost entirely metal (fists/accessories notwithstanding).
If the GB was scaled like the SG, he'd weigh 15 pounds easily!
Both of them are the 'slimline' T28, as opposed to the potbelly version (GA63)
In terms of value, SG will be around $3 - 4K, while GB is usually well under $1K.
If you look at their original prices, they reflect their respective quality level - $100 for the SG, $15 or so for the GB.
Today, the SG isn't necessarily worth 8 times the GB, but is at least 8 times the toy!!

Thanks for the info. Seems like GB 24 is a more interesting (because of the die cast content) than the SG ;D

Don't get me wrong! SG is MUCH more interesting.... Regardless of the structure being plastic, the metal body panels make the thing feel like a solid metal thing.
By comprison, GB is almost 'just another gokin'.
There's no doubt in my mind - and in most collectors minds - that SG is the pinnacle of Popy's toymaking.
The sheer size and detail on the SG is incredible! It's like comparing your Mekanda Gasshin to the Mekanda ST....

I see. When it come to Mekanda then I think you are right. SG is a more interesting one.

No way...
The GB24 is like no other Popy piece out there. It's almost solid diecast. By far one of the most impressive pieces made in the chogokin line without question, for it's size and weight.
As far as the SG-01 vs. GB-24 is concerned, you're really talking apples and oranges..

Exactly. Equally cool in my opinion. Mekanda Jr. has some serious FUNK man.. One of my personal favorites. Sanjeev and Mason were recently at my house and I pulled that out for them and we all just sat there and drooled. Funny, because I hadn't seen it in years... Love that Jr...
