Are those three combinable? How are they as toys?

No, they are not combinable. As toys, that depends on what you mean. They are about 4-5 inches and mainly made of die cast metal. They have a few gimmicks like firing axe (getter1), firing missiles (getter 3) and firing head/spaceship (they do not transform). Some years ago Bandai released mini-versions of them that can be found on ebay: GT-03, GT-07 and GT-09 (search for 'GT chogokin'). They are not expensive (usually 10-30 USD) and of the same quality as the originals only smaller. The originals, though, can be very expensive (say about 50-200 USD), depending of course on condition of toy and box. If you like vintage japanese robots from 1970s you'll probably like these, they are true classics. If you are still unsure, buy one of the GT-series and see what you think. I did and I'm content with the small versions, but of course it would be cool to also have the originals.

Hm, strange that someone said they were combining, maybe they just meant that they are supposed to be the same robot in different modes Don't know if you know but GA-02-04 is Getter Robo in different modes of transformation (Getter 1, 2 and 3). This transformation is impossible to do in a toy (though there exists a so called "Perfect Change Getter Robo"). They are not combinable, but they belong together.
