It has to be around 81 or 82 for the reissue. It would be a bar code if it was 84. Bandai took over in the early 80's.
I haven't seen too many of them for sale in that series.

Any word if this is the same as the GA-79 DX It looks like it but just wondering if they have any differences...

Yes - that is the same as the 'original' Dangard DX. The Etarnal Heroes were just re-vamped packages.
It has the same accessories etc.
As mentioned, this particular 'reissue' seems harder to find than the original!
