Hi,
I noticed that some Godaikin come in different color boxes. For instance, i've seen Goggle V come in a gold colored box, and a purple color box. Does anyone know what the difference is?

The darker box has a full box cover then a window cover below. It is the first version from 1983/84.
Then the gold box is a window box (no double covering). It is the second version.

Does that apply to all Godaikins? or the first 10 Godaikins? The darker box has a full box cover then a window cover below. It is the first version from 1983/84. Then the gold box is a window box (no double covering). It is the second version. Ed

Combattra, Guardian, Goggle V, God Marz had second version window boxes in later releases. First releases were with box covers and inside cellophane labeled covers.
Voltes V, God Sigma, Daltanious were issued a year or two later with the same box and inside cellophane window designs.
Sun Vulcan may not have been released but for one year with a solid box. I can't recall for certain.
Tetsujin only was released in the first year with the same box and inside cellophane style.
Certain Godaikins only had a solid box with just inner styro container like Leopardon, Daitetsujin, Daidenjin, Dancouga.
Then a few later issue Godaikins only had a box with cello window like Daileion, Albegas, and Michineman

P.S. Golion was only released one year with the same box and cello style.
In general, yes, the first releases were always a box with inside cello cover.
