So, curious to know, where and how can anyone get the Super Robot cartoons from the 70s in English? I can find SOME Japanese, and SOME Italian, but virtually nothing in English or even English sub-titles....
Do any of you have any ideas?

i just downloaded zambot 3 and combattlerV on a torrent site... they are in english subs.

I've uploaded some Combattler V , Daimos, and Danguard Ace on Crunchyroll.com. There are a lot of old school super robot animes there. I enjoy going there when I'm having downtime at work. I have to make sure my supervisors aren't looking over my shoulder when I'm watching videos. LOL!

Same with me on all of them. The problem I'm having is that I can usually find these torrents, it's just that either they state directly that they aren't in English or EngSubbed, or they don't say WHAT the language or subs are! I don't have the time or the disk space to download a bunch of cartoons that I can't understand.... I will say that after posting last night, I did find Reideen and Zambot, two of the most important off of my list, so I am downloading those now. BUT, I am looking for Combattler, Goldrake, Danguard Ace and Mazinger. Those are my most important. And, anyone who has the old Jeeg episodes, I wouldn't mind that, either  |

Alright, I got Raideen and Mazinger Z. They are wonderful. I had Grandizer, but, it wasn't sub-titled, so I stopped downloading him... Anyone know where to get SUBTITLED Danguard Ace and Grandizer? Maybe some Combattler, too?

I've been trying to finish translating the Mazinger-Z series to english subtitles, but 92 episodes is a helluva long ways to go and I've only translated the first five episodes so far. I'll finish the entire series for Consistency's sake, someday for sure, as time and technology permits. I'm currently working on translating all six of the Mazinger OAV movies (not including the UFO documentaries) to English subtitles. "Mazinger-Z vs Devilman" "Mazinger-Z vs Dark General" "Great Mazinger vs GetterRobo1" "Great Mazinger vs GetterRobo Dragun" "Great Mazinger vs Grendizer" and "Super-Robots vs Dragonsaurus" (formerly titled "The Decisive Battle Against the Sea Monster") I'm translating from the spanish subs, which are seriously faithful to the storyline and the character names are correct; and I followed through as specified by the Spanish fan-sub networks. My english sub versions will Not be anything like those bad english'ed HK-dvd-rips; That I Can assure you. I give all the credit to the Spanish fan-sub teams for their flawless efforts and their strong dedication to the tedious hobby of Translation and Subtitling of our favorite animes. I will have these six movies ready and available via torrent and direct-d/load. This will take a while due to my current domestic situation at this time. But once I've settled down I will announce these Ready-to-go as soon as possible. Hang with me zozo-Magengar |
