From what I heard it's like most Taiwan KO's with quality being ok. But for a display piece next to your SOC it should be fine.

So where would be the problems with the figure? Less die-cast than the original? Terrible joints?

I'm just assuming but I think the diecast content should be the same just the quality of plastic and stuff is not up to standards plus the build quality itself is nowhere near what originals are.

just beware of these robot's hands, There's a version of GodMarz's bootlegs that came with two left hands (no right hand at all....no kidding), just make sure this is not the one.

I actually ordered one from that very dealer. The quality isn't bad. Allot of the details that are made out of molded plastic on the DX version are replaced with foil stickers in this version. Mine stands a bit croked, but other than that all of the pieces fit well and it is very sturdy. Not a bad cheaper alternative if you ask me.

Not worth the total $130 IMHO. This is only $50 at our local crackgokin hangout here in SoCal and has been taunting me for years but I DID NOT give in :-) LOL.

For $50 you are seriosly missing out. It's a cool toy. I post when this topic comes up; it's not up to the quality of the Bandai version for sure - but it's FAR from the cheapie HK knock-offs people think they are.
I have both Godtron and Godsigma versions and you could do a lot worse. They have some flaws, but vs. the price of entry of an original Godaikin (which would be over double that), for the $50 or $100 you can get these for (shipped) they look great on display and are just as fun as an original. They only one I suggest people stay away from is the Lionbot KO's - the older ones from the 80's can be quite good. The newer ones absolutely suck. And since you get get a nice bandai-made Matchbox release for well under $100 that's a much better way to go.
Just my $.02.

They also have the Protector KO and Godsigma KO for the same price. I would rather get this original SoC King Joe for $48 ;D SoC King Joe

I totally understand. Do they really have the Godsigma KO for $50? How much would it cost to ship that? Would you be willing to pick it up for me? I want it for a friend of mine (with kids and doesn't have the extra $$) and I would give it to him for his birthday.

I used to go there twice a month but ever since my robot room/shelves started filling up, it's more like once every 2 or 3 months. Plus I live 70 miles one way, so gas is somewhat a factor with my H2 Like I said, these have been taunting me for 2 years or so....I believe they're GodBot, Protector, & GodTron. I almost bought one too. I inspected it and all, but put it down last second ;D I will keep an eye on them for you next time i am there. Where will it be shipped (City, State, Zip)? GodBot or GodTron? Also, maybe some other Frank & Son regulars here can help you out.

Does anyone know if a bootleg Tetsujin 28 was ever made in the 16 inch size? I heard a rumor there may have been. I think these bootlegs are great. I remember when voltron came out and everyone wanted a toy. The godaikin a were already gone so the only thing you can get was a lionbot and those sold like hot cakes.
