Just finished the RAW of 5. More of a character development episode than an action episode, but good nonetheless. Of course, I'd have gotten a whole lot more out of it if I could understand Japanese, but a surprisingly large part of what was going on was evident from context.

They are just keeping the tributes whit every episode, Ranka singing Mynmei song during the Miss Macross Frontier contest, Alto running to watch Ranka on stage performance, the soft drinks machines everywhere annoying everyone, the tuna head fish dish, the fact that they were trapped during one of the attacks, ETC. ETC. ETC.
I think they are making a superb job in keeping all of us die hard Macross fans happy whit every episode.
The resemblance of Alto whit Lancer (robotech the new generation / mospeada), in my opinion is a little bit of a stretch.... I don´t think they want anything to do with Robotech in any way.
BTW has anyone suspect that Sheryl Nome could be related to the Nome sisters in Macross Zero??? You now the ones in the pacific island, Sarah and Mao NOME, they sang too... I think there´s a connection there.
Can´t wait to see EP 5 whit subs.....

I notice those similarities too. Klan Klein is very mature when macronized. It would be interesting and kinda scary to go to the Zentradi Mall. |

He said it was Gattai, so it's subbed. I just opened it in Quicktime and the subs are light blue. They even sub the opening credits.  |

If the Gattai isn't working for you, try the AiA I-Z. I appreciate how fast the Gattais come out, but for some reason, the AiAs work better with my player. Remember; Google is your friend, sir!  |

I used Media Player Classic for Gattai. I was having issues with the subtitles.
