Love the vignetting from the Holga...Guys, it is a $39.99 plastic camera that has a fixed focus lens(meaning there are presets to the focus, you can't manually tune it, but uses 35mm film. However, many have bought them for the distinct look they give photos.
Great job, tuck.

Actually the Holga is a medium format camera (at least the original is). You can focus the lens, it is just the view finder isn't connected to he lens so you can visually see if you are focusing correctly. I also used a new Holga 135BC which does use 35mm film. There are only 2 apertures, 1/100th of a second and bulb on both of the cameras. I also used close up filters (basically screw on magnifying lenses).
Thanks for the compliments everyone!!

I haven't seen the original Holga, then, what I saw was the $39.99 version at my local camera store. Some dude was wondering how to focus it and the salesman told him you can't, they are fixed at certain distances. I looked and sure enough, he was right.
So the original is a rangefinder? That is kind tough to focus if you can't see through the lens.

It is not really a range finder...the viewfinder has no correlation to what the lens sees. Compostion and focusing are a matter of learning your camera through a series of trial and error. It sounds like work but it is really a ton of fun and very freeing. It also has a slightly wide angle lens so focusing is not as critical. The one I saw at the store was a little different, it was blue grayish and had presets on the "lens" for focus. It used 35mm film.
