Hi people! As a new (well, really re-newed, as I had some of these guys as a boy) robot collector, I have a question I'd like to put out to the experts on this site about a Bazoler I'd like to buy from the Italian ebay site. My question is this.....and please pardon my ignorance if this is a silly question: The Bazoler I'm looking at on ebay.it shows pictures of the toy with the side stickers on opposite sides as I've seen them on every other picture of Bazoler on the net. For example, the one I want to buy has the English "Gaiking Bazoler" on the left side, and the Japanese words on the right......every other pic I've seen has these stickers reversed; and unfortunately, as I no longer have the one I had as a kid, I don't recall where the stickers were located on it. Could this be simply that the picture was "flipped" by the poster/seller? Or does this transposing of stickers sometimes occur? I ask because I don't want to buy a fake, or bootleg....I want the real deal. Here's a link to the pictures from the auction in question: cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250250234025&indexURL=0&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohostingThanks in advance for any info anyone is able to provide (once you're done laughing at the silly question, of course ;D ). Take care!!!

It's not a bootleg, or if it is, it's very well done, it has the Popy stamp under, & the box is definitely not a fake. Hope you won the auction.

There is the possibility that the photo "negative" was reversed.
-Looks legit.

Thanks for the replies, guys!!! markusg- Yes, I did win the auction, and the Bazoler, although pricey, is well worth it.....this thing is absolutely PRISTINE!!! The box is in rough shape, but the toy itself far exceeded my expectations.
admin1- Now that I physically have the Bazoler, I remain baffled, as it was not a case of photo-reversing (which is what I thought it might've been). The stickers are actually as they appear in the photos........which is COMPLETELY contrary to every single other Bazoler I have ever seen. Does anyone out there have the slightest idea as to why this particular one has the stickers applied opposite to all the others (again, at least the ones I've seen, anyway). It's no big deal.....I mean, as markusg stated, it is definitely not a fake or bootleg (I can confirm this without a doubt now that I have it in my grubby paws!). I'm just curious as to what would account for this seemingly unexplainable occurance. Thanks everyone!!!

Keep in mind that toys have variations. We often see Shogun bazolers to refer to.... maybe you have an early version for the Japanese market.
We know jetfire stickers evolved. We know Grandizer stickers/stampings evolved. Maybe bazoler...

We know Grandizer stickers/stampings evolved. Maybe bazoler... I'm assuming that's the case....that it is probably an early version....judging by the shape of the box, that very well could be. Either way, it is a terrific piece....and I'm beyond happy with it!!!!

Hi again, glad to hear you won the auction, especially as you had one as a kid. 140 € is of course much money, but that is the market speaking! Bazoler is quite rare I think, and that one looks almost mint on the pictures. It's a very cool chogokin and I will try to get one myself (I have the dino in the series). About the stickers: I have looked in my references and I can't find a picture of Bazoler with the stickers like that. But as admin says, it is normal for those Popy chogokins to have been issued a few times with minor differences (slightly different missiles, colors and so on). Or maybe your Bazoler just happened to get the stickers switched.
all the best, markus

Also, keep in mind these things were assembled and packaged by human beings. It is most likely not a variation but just a case of someone putting the stickers on the wrong sides durring assembly. See, that's what happens when you gossip on th job.

Being a life long sports cards/memorabilia collector, I always hunted for the rare-as-hens-teeth "error" card.........if this is at all similar to that genre, then I have a real gem!!!!! ;D Thanks, Erik!!
