Uh oh. Looks like I'll be forking out more money for a Gundam again after a recent lull in spending. I'm excited about this one. The Zeta Plus is a great design. I just hope Bandai doesn't botch it.

I read that this will come in both red and blue versions. Hooray. Blue one for me. I also can't wait to see the S Gundam show up in the GFF MC line.

I'm looking for the blue one also. Let's hope that the paint will not be easily scratched during transformation.

Awesome! I hope it has a fair amount of die-cast.

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't heard anything more. Too bad Gunota Headlines is no more. I'm trying to figure out if I should get this or the Macross Frontier VF-25.

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't heard anything more. Too bad Gunota Headlines is no more. I'm trying to figure out if I should get this or the Macross Frontier VF-25. the two models are similar as both transform into planes/ships, the Vf-25 as you probibly know has a gerwalk mode. In my latest Hobby Japan magazine that i purchased. The VF-25 looks kickass. the detail is amazing, and so is the overall appearence of the model. But if i were you id get both, but if budget dosent allow it, i "think" the vf-25 is the way to go.. but last question.. which one? Alto's? Ozma"s? Michael's? Or Luca's? But id get the vf-27 and custom paint it.

I'd like to get both but I think it would be wise to watch my spending during these harsh economic times. I'm really torn about these two. The quality of the GFF Metal Composites has been very high and satisfying, but the VF-25's look so good (I especially like Ozma's). I may just end up waiting to see if prices drop in the future so that I can buy both more comfortably. I'm guessing that sales for toys will drop due to the economy being in such poor shape. I think we'll probably see more sales as demand drops.

I'm hoping it has retractable landing gear...though most likely it will be in removable form.

It's a shame that the Zeta Plus won't be out until February 2009 -- it won't be available for Christmas 2008.
