BBTS sent me the blue Masterpiece Beta. The first thing I noticed was that it's freaking HEAVY. The legs are massive chunks of diecast metal. Very nice build quality overall though there were a few faint glue smears. Solid in fighter mode. Legs are floppy in robot mode. The Beta's quality is SO much better than Toynami's Alpha. Very happy with the Beta. A real shame that the QC for the Alpha was so awful.

I picked up all 3 colors of the MP Beta's from BBTS. I have to say I am extremely happy with the quality on all 3. I wish that Toynami could do another reissue of their Alpha's with the same quality and workmanship as these Beta's. It's a shame because these Beta's are actually very high quality and nothing from the same cloth as the Alpha's.
