Hi everyone. I realize this is terribly rude for a first post to start with a request, but the cruel fact is that I'm a really second-rate toy collector compared to you guys and that I don't have much to share (and I don't have a digital camera to shoot what little I have). But I thought that maybe other people might benefit from what I'm requesting, so what the heck, here I come : I'm looking for a better resolution of that awesome Godaikin piece of artwork that appeared on the back of some boxes. I'm only found some blurry references on the net (notably at Robot-Japan), so here it is : When I was a kid, I'd go to the toy store and look at that pic on the back of the Dancougar box (I couldn't afford that beauty) and it would get me totally crazy to see all these different robots united on the same picture. I thought there was some cartoon out there, either in Japan or the States, where all these robots were part of the same team! Since then, I've learned what Godaikin really was, but still, I'd like to get a better scan or that picture that used to make me go nuts as a kid. Once again, sorry for not having anything to contribute (for now), but if someone could help me, that would just be awesome. JW

Hey Jaywicky, I'm relatively new as a registered member also, but, Welcome Aboard! You did contribute pictures and a little kids dreamy-eyed story, all cool. But your post made me dig out a boxed Dancouga, (stupid 23 yr old dust..AAAAchOOO!,Dang!) thinking the poster inside was that big painting you wanted scanned, but the poster is of the smaller Dancouga team image only. I'll see if the box back can be scanned.

Ah, sorry about the dust, dude, and thanks for your efforts!
If anyone's interested, I'll try and uncover some of my own dusty archives. Anyone up for a French Go-Bots mini-comic/catalog ? (Dunno where I should post it : it's officially Go-Bots, but filled with Godaikin luminaries such as Dancougar or the Bismarck robot from Saber Rider)

Great news! But the link won't let me see anything unless I dredge up my old French class lessons, and register on that site. Can you copy, save, and repost the image itself here? Great to hear you're still chasing this, as nothing else showed up that I know of.
