Oooh that's a sexy Griffon! I wonder if the wings fold out like the old Bandai kit did... And it'd be even cooler if it will come with an optional part for the sub-marine mode!!

i think being plastic helped the revoltech line reduce its price. also makes it more feasible to play with not like how we treat the SOCs as display pieces.

I wouldn't hesitate to call The Big O a "super-robot" - but I wouldn't refer to this as a chogokin (see other recent threads for the discussion of the terminology/entimology of the word). I think MacFarlane Toys make a gokin-style Big O at one point tho (could be the wrong company; it was a western company, I'm sure).

I dont beleive there any metal Big-O's out there, the only figures are pewter for the little gashapon ones and the plastic model kit and action figure. Max factory did have some prototypes of what could have been figures for Big-), big-Duo and Big-Fau, but that was two years ago with no update since.

Speaking of which (slightly OT), what ever happened to the MF Big-O that was showcased about a year back?

Getter 3 baby! Just got my hands on this one as well as Mazinkaiser. But only opened the Getter 3 for now. Boy, is this cool. And I was so surprised that now even the little joint on the neck and wrists clicks too! Thats right. Its also revolteched(nice term LOL)! Tons of big revoltech joints on this Getter with awesome posing range, and the whole body fully painted! Looks more finished compare to the bare shiny plastic of Getter 1 & 2. The only gripe is that it doesn't come with a pair of closed fists. Only 2 pairs of open hands. But other than that, I think this release is a great improvement of the previous. Hope the Mazinkaiser will be even better, but saving that one for Christmas. Can't wait for Dangaioh coming in March. Yay!

megatron, a deeper/darker color scheme Prime, TF energon Prime, and Gaiking have been announced! thats good news. more transformers revoltechs. ;D but im wondering if some toy franchising law will be violated on the availability of these revoltech transformers in the US as hasbro has the license to distribute the transformers line in the US.

I can´t wait to see pics of Megatron and Gaiking!!
But as much as I like the real robot and super robot series, I would like to see more humans, since Revy is perhaps the best figure in the line (although my soon to arrive Getter 3 may claim the throne).
Perhaps from some licenses Kayodo has already held or holds such as FOTNS, Trigun or Tiger Mask, or other video-game licenses such as Tekken or DOA.

OPEN GET!!! If you are really into the long arms of Getter 3, you can put all the extensions on one arm as shown, or purchase an extra figure and extend it all the way. Fun stuff!
