Oh Giant Robo looks awesome! the only thing that bothers me is, is where the leg pivots on the hip. Seems like the pivot point is a bit low. But understandable for maximum posablility around the skirt.

That gun Prime's got is huge! It's bigger than his arm! I wonder what's up with that elbow thing in one of the images? The black button is there then it's gone?(the images next to Prime holding the matrix with his left hand over his head) Some bad news regarding the Ultra Magnus, it will be indeed an exclusive over at the "Revoltech Friends Shop" www.fantofan.jp/Gold

Well, I finally picked up the Ingram 01 - it's my first Revoltech (this line came out at a dreadful time in my collecting career - I had previously sworn off buying these small kinds of figures in order to have more money for bigger gokin types).
My reaction? I'm pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this baby is. From the diagrams on the packaging, I would've thought the limbs would just fall off (and it also didn't help that there are people posting photos of customized Revoltechs mixing and matching parts... it all left me with the distinct impression that Revoltechs were like really expensive gashapons - in fact, the joint system of twisting pegs-in-holes is exactly like those super-poseable gashapon we've seen of Macross and Dead or Alive.
The interchangeable hands are amazingly easy to snap in and out too (thankfully). But the ratchet joints are nice and tight and the whole figure in general holds its poses remarkably well. I can't wait for the Griffon to come out now!!!

I can't wait for the Griffon to come out now!!! True. The sturdiness is probably why everyone has been fairly supportive of the series. Revoltechs compared to some of the more expensive and larger plastic figure series (even Gundams to some degree) hold their poses much better. The joints are tight enough that they don't slide out of the pose you set them into.

Yeah, I'm sold. I just got Getters 1 & 2. These things are small but I'm really liking them. I'm now eyeing Getter 3 and Maz. I would like to see this line expand to the old school super bots.

Got my mazinkaiser. At first I thought it wasnt that good , but after tinkering and doing some poses. I find it to be cool. I especially like the wing part.( kaiser's wings always catch my attention). Its a good buy. I already got getter 1 and 2 and hopefully next week, I"ll have getter 3. And by next month , optimus ang giant robo. Another good year to start collecting. But bad for the wallet. But hey, its fun, right?
