Okay guys, you asked, and as Admins and Mods here at Robot Japan, we listen and care about our members. Please vote so your voice can be heard. I'll leave this open until Friday, which should get enough time and exposure to get a good concensus.

As cool as I think it would be, it's a single toyline that only has a limited number of releases per month. Maybe if it were a "Kaiyodo mono shaft/Revoltech/Small Scale Figures" forum. Include MMS and the like, perhaps.
I'll hold off on voting for now, but with regards to an exclusively revoltech forum, I almost feel it's appropriate to keep it as single thread.

Well of course, I think it would include Figma, MMS, Microman, Robot Damashii, etc., as well as the robot museum figures and all the other small lines that've been put out by the many action figure companies. But as Revoltech is the most popular and prolific series in this category I see no reason to say no to a Revoltech sub forum, also keeping it to a single thread is a little ridiculous at this point since there are almost 70 figures in the line and scouring pages and pages of replies is very time consuming and annoying. Also as for it being a single series with only a few releases a month.... Revoltechs come out much quicker than SOCs which are only released once every couple months.

^ isn't there already a Microman sub forum? why not just add Revoltech to that forum?

I'm fine with a Revoltech sub forum, but is there enough material to have anything more than an ongoing thread? I guess what I'm saying is that if we had a "Revoltech sub-forum" then we should probably include the other robot action figure series like Yamato GNU series and CM's Sunrise figures etc. Otherwise I'm not sure there is a need to have just a Revoltech sub-forum is there?

my opinion is what 00silvergt suggested earlier. adding it to other section only is more than enough for Revoltech.

So this would be a Modern robot new forum area.....possibly.
Let me know what combined robot lines would fit. I've seen one suggestion.

From the figures and series mentioned so far, it sounds like a robot action figure thread (there might be a better name for it though), because if you look at what all these lines have in common: all plastic figures, don't transform (not perfectly anyway), they all focus upon articulation and sculpt, and generally have a lower price point.
Here are figure lines suggested so far: Revoltech Yamato GNU Figma Robot Damashii CM's (something line of plastic figures?) KT Style Gashapon Microman MMS
It seems like there might be a couple other companies that have robot action figure lines?

I'd say this way (as a sub-forum under Vintage Robots): Vintage Robots >> Revoltech
I could also go with what Xiombarg suggests above. But I am only familiar with Microman among the other toys listed so I'm not an expert by any means.

xiombarg hit it on the head. Not necessarily a All Revoltech sub forum but something that will not include the Bandai SOC, Aoshima, CM's Gokin, Yamato Gokin, Max Factory Gokin, Konami diecast, Toynami diecast, etc... literally a "mostly inexpensive" action figures sub forum.

^ isn't there already a Microman sub forum? why not just add Revoltech to that forum? i think I would tend to agree with this. Not that I don't think revoltech isn't deserving. But it far from being around long enough to have its own section alone.

I like the above idea. I think Revoltechs have earned the right to have their own sub-forum, but they do need Gashapons & other similar products to help carry the sub-forum.

What is long enough to deserve a forum?
IF you add up all the released items you certainly have more items available from Revoltech than from SOC... hmmmmm
Moreover, there is already the MAIN revoltech line, the Fraulein spinoff line and the new upcoming Revolution (with FOTNS and SF)and "generic" sublines.
What about related products, well Fygma, MMS amd the GNU Hagane for once are very interesting "clones" with their own twist of course.
Moreover, these are from a technological standpoint the BEST ACTION FIGURES EVER MADE!!!.
They blow away anything Hasbro, Mattel and NECA do in the US.
LET THE REVOLUTION BEGIN WITH A DEDICATED SUBFORUM!
