There were a few if them on Madarake for ¥12,000 too but when I checked again today they're were gone. They get it in stock pretty regularly and eBay sellers usually have some. I know xtrlowz75 had found one pretty easily when he started looking for one, but I think he sold it a month or two ago.

Diamos is really a great SOC. You cant go wrong ... Its heavy with lots of die cast content. I really love mine ... Hope you guys can get one for a better price. Amazon has it listed for 245.

no kidding i paid mine like $200...ish including shipping from Japan and stup!d taxes from local post here in Canada....its pricey considering its opened MiB in condition....but i couldn't complain i too was a victim for NOT succumbing to this wonderful masterpiece when it went like $100ish....not soo long ago.....but have to pay a vast amount of money because of my mistake...anyway lesson learned the hard way: waiting will probably not make the price of this robots go down as these are treated as collectibles, majority of the market is mostly for collectors who have a vast amount of funds to spend....get em while u can otherwise pay the price....

After seeing the vintage toy for years and years (and with no affiliation with the original show), I just can't get used to the green parts. I am so used to the yellow parts, that this toy just does not look "right" to me. That has held me at bay from picking one up. If ever I did, I would probably try to recolor those parts.

Funny thing is that, some of those green parts are made of yellow plastic painted green

Really? So I can just strip the paint? Hmmm... That I don't know, since I don't own the thing yet. And I doubted the finish will look good after the paint is stripped. So some repaint will probably be necessary, if you want to make that change.

No, you aren't unfortunately. Playmoya's prices change. They claim it's in relations to market prices and it auto adjusts. One of the sites they scan must have sold at that price....maybe even a YJ auction.

No problem. They are definitely a site that if you see something you want and you are comfortable at that price, get it then and there because you don't know what it will be in an hour. I was watching an item and it went up almost $300. Luckily the eBay prices were only a little more than Plamoya had it originally listed for. Plamoya will only check Japanese pricing, not worldwide pricing.

They are the only site that I know that does that and that's what leads to them having some pretty outrageous prices on some items. If someone is desperate for an item and has no patience to shop around (obviously, otherwise they would have bought the one on Plamoya), they skew the prices. It's pretty frustrating because Plamoya does get some great out of print items in.

I noticed Amazon.com sometimes does something similar. There are times I was eyeing some items, be it some DVDs, action figures or electronics, the price changes within an hour or two. But if I stop looking and go back after a couple days, the price went back to its original lower price. As if the price adjust itself depending if the page is being clicked on much to determine what small discount it should give. Weird, but happened quite a few times before. Just like this morning, I was eyeing on the S.H.Monsterarts Godzilla 2000 preorder at $66. When I almost went and order it during lunch a couple hours later, it went back to $75... so I backed out. Hate it when it happens.
