Thanks roboto! Btw, which parts are diecast? Overall metal percentage? A super typhoon is above the island of Taiwan right now. The wind has really picked up speed this past hour, and I can really hear it outside my window. Okay, back to the topic... Here's to answer you question, zman. Red arrows indicate diecast parts. Blue arrows indicate plastic parts. 1. Tranzer head | plastic (the guns are made of soft PVC) | 2. Body Cover | plastic (this piece is removable) | 3. Shoulder | diecast (Red paint scratches easily when stored in lower leg)
| 4. Arms | plastic (It already comes prescratched from the factory. )
| 5. Upper Leg Cover | plastic (Red paint easily scratched when slid out from lower leg cover.)
| 6. Lower Leg Cover | plastic
| 7. Side Bar | diecast
| 8. Support Bar for Knees and Wheels | diecast (It can't be seen from the angle of the photo.)
| 9. Feet | diecast | 10. Inner Leg | diecast (Sharp edges of this part scatches shoulders!) | 11. Inner Leg | diecast (Hollow space where the arms are stored.) | 12. Chest Cover | plastic
| 13. Robot Head | plastic (Some complaints about paint application.) | 14. Upper Leg | plastic | 16. Inner Body Frame | diecast |
8. Support Bar for Knees and Wheels | diecast | 15. Wheels | plastic (NOT rubber. ) |
10. Inner Leg | diecast (Sharp edges of this part can scatch shoulders!) |

To be honest, I don't really mind toys that scratch easily, so long as it's playable and durable. I know not all collectors agree with me, though.

Thanks, pchin. Maraming salamat on commending my humble photo skills. To be honest, I don't really mind toys that scratch easily, so long as it's playable and durable. I know not all collectors agree with me, though. My first impression of this SOC is that the transformation is tricky and the scratches bothered me. After having transformed it several times, however, I've gotten used to changing it back and forth and the scratches don't bother me anymore since I'm looking at the overal toy. In other words, I'm liking this SOC more and more. I'm checking out the plethora of weapons. I've got to say that it's impressive. The red cylindrical boosters/guns? can be removed.

Damn! No offense, Gold, but if roboto keeps up doing reviews like this he might just give you a run for your money. The photos are awesome roboto. Keep up the great work.
Maybe the admins could create a special thread for your reviews of all the SOCs. That would be wicked helpful.
;D

I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this weapon is called "Chain Shock". The Chain Shock's Shark's upper and lower clamp teeth do not shut. The Chain Shock Shark reminds me of a Chinese martial arts weapon called the Fei Zhua or "Flying Claw". Photo taken from Kung Fu DirectSpeaking of which, I know that the pilot of Daimos practices Okinawan karate, and Ryukyuan martial arts was very much influenced by southern Chinese martial arts. Uh, oh... Super Robot fight. Mazinger Z also has a special suprise up his sleeve for Daimos.

WTF?! PLASTIC wheels on the Tranzer? But... why? Seriously though, I wanted to buy this for the Tranzer mode, mainly because it was my favorite mode when I had the GoDaikin version... looks like GX-43 just lost more of it's luster, and the scratches out of the box... ugh. I want my Daitarn.

WTF?! PLASTIC wheels on the Tranzer? But... why? Yeah, I was thinking the same. Maybe if we pool enough money and then find a factory in China that can make molds for the rubber wheels. We can have them make as many sets for each RJ member. Another fellow RJ member, Venson, was able to do that with the treads on the Popy/Godaikin Voltes V Panzer.

The last time I watched an episode of Daimos, I was 7 or 8 years old. Also, I haven't practiced my Japanese in a while that I can't correctly read the katakana written on the instruction sheet.

None taken... Thanks for the link. Absolutely fantastic photos! The first photo has Griffon from the Patlabor anime in the background - apparently Diamos hacked it to pieces. ;D I also learned from the guy who posted the info and photos to watch out when closing the upper leg cover (part 5) since it can scratch the paint on the edges below the waist line. It's time to take a break from my posts now.
