Not heard anything about Galvatron, the rumour is, and I don't recall any pics of prototype molds, so just rumours that the next two Transformers to get the Kaiyodo treatment will be Grimlock and Soundwave.

Remember those MEGA SCF PVC figures? did they ever make Galvatron out of those? any poseable figure that is like the 1980s version of Galvatron is most desireable.

MEGA SCF was pretty limited. IIRC, the G1 line had Optimus Prime, Megatron, Hot Rod, and Starscream. Prime and Megs were repainted metallic and also battle damaged, movie style. Starscream had his coronation crown, cape, and shoulders from the movie, from when Galvatron finished him off. I think these four were it, though.
There were also some figures from the then-current Armada/Micron Legend line, Which I believe were Prime, Hot Shot, Megs, and Demolishor. There may have been more, but I can't recall.
So in terms of a movie-accurate poseable Galvatron, you're basically SOL for now. Energon/Super Link Megs/Galvy was a huge homage to the Galvatron design, and eventually got a relatively G1 purple repaint. There's also the new Classics figure, as you mentioned. Beyond that...I believe there was a non-poseable 3" Galvy in the Titanium line, an SD one in the Robot Heroes line, and a small PVC from the Takara line predating the Mega SCF.
And lastly, E-Hobby released a movie color version of the original Galvatron figure.
