Was wondering if anyone had the KT Collection Getters and if it was worth it. Where's the best place to get them?
I'm looking for the Shin Getter in specific, as there are no good figures of it. The Revoltech looks good in pictures has horrible overly tight joints. The KT appeals because it has a more organic look too.

Sorry buddy... KT stopped making those a long time ago, and if you are lucky enough to find one it will probably be on the expensive side. Your best bet is to go Revoltech, which are actually pretty awesome figures. Here is a picture of the Revoltech Getta-1 and Shin Getter with a Banpresto diecast and plastic Getter Dragon in the middle (which has been discontinued for years): }D

No, I can get them alright(but would like to get a better price than what I have currently if I could), just wondering if they're any good. I already have the Revoltech Shin Getter and it's purely for display. The KTs look fun to fiddle with, but I@m not sure, they may be unstable.

If you can get them, do so. Since they have been discontinued, the price is going to be higher than when they first came out years ago.

Can you fiddle with them though? Or will they come apart if I pose them a lot? If they're too fragile I might not. Aso is this the same as that Dragon figure? img372.imageshack.us/my.php?image=matsrc02sj4.gifWhat's it like? IT doesn' tlook like it can move it's legs.

No, that a Marmit Getter Dragon, which is a very cool figure indeed. The one in between the Revoltechs is a Banpresto figure, and while it does have aticulation in the shoulder and elbows, it does not have knee articulation. You can still rotate the legs at the hip and at the knee for "some" limited posing. The KT figures are small and yes, they are sort of fragile too. They have pegs for most, if not all of their articulation, and being so small they are prone to breaking easily. As far as size, here is a picture of a Revoltech Getternext to the KT Getters 1, Shin, and 2: }D

Damn, that's the coolest Shin Getter figure I've ever seen. It loks a bit more "organic". Wish the body was leaner though.
It sucks that Getter Dragon gets like 5 or 6 cool, cheap figures around the 4-6 inch mark and Shin Getter only gets a Revoltech that's not very fun to play with.
I can get the Shin Getter for around $20 though I might look or the full set, as the Jeeg looks kind of nifty.
What's the scale and posability n the Marmit Getter Dragon like? Doesn't look like he can move his legs.

The Marmit Getter Dragon is about 7 or 8 inches tall, and yes it is fully poseable (it does bent the knees). If you can get it, do so!

I have the KT Dynamic Robot Museum set, and I love 'em. Very nice detail on such tiny bots, and the articulation is pretty decent. Not as great as on a Revoltech, but decent nonetheless. I don't fiddle with them much; I'm kind of concerned about the joints. The way they are constructed, it looks like repeated use might either break them or give them a case of the floppies.
