I vaguely remember Mekanda robot as a kid. I do know tho, that during its time, Getter robot was around and I think Mazinger Z was alive then too. Did they ever make a decent effort at a toy of Mekanda back then? I'm hoping they come out with a SOC version of it, though i highly doubt it. The story and the characters were as lame as they came back then. I guess thats what made them cool:)
