That is not your average action figure. Its a 50cm tall doll that just the China Dress outfit & wig alone cost 14800yen. Figure sold separately.

It is a tall action figure. ;D This Minmei doll is kinda cute in my opinion. "Not your average action figure" meaning not just big in size, but big in price as well. The doll is 59800 yen alone. You want the China Dress look, add an additional 14800 yen. So again, not your average action figure. ;D Its like more than triple the price range of high end 12" figure territory. I actually don't like the face sculpt very much. More stylized and very little Mikimoto. The much smaller CM's PVC 4 inch figures capture the likeness of Minmay and Mikimoto's character design a lot better I think, even though they are quite small. |

I think a 1/6 scale possible figure of Minmei would definitely be more appealing and cheaper for Macross fans than a 50cm doll.

Ridiculous price really, and unncessary size since it doesn't really resemble a "real" doll that much.
It's just a big action figure with cheap cloth clothing. BJDs are nice but aren't any different from Ball Jointed action figures. I can't get over how insanely overpriced dolls are.
Which sucks because I LOVE Dolls. Huge Rozen Maiden fan here.
