A friend and a customer of mine went to Japan 3 weeks ago, and when he came back, he shocked me with the strangest news!! A shop owner who sells Popy toys in Japan told my friend this while he was standing and looking at Tetsujin SG-01 figure, DID YOU KNOW THEY MADE A BLACK ONE TOO?  ?!!!!! so my friend answered by saying no.........then the shop owner says, oh yes but collectors outside Japan do NOT know about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now, my TOUGH question is: is this is true? does Tetsujin SG-01 BLACK exist? I am schocked!!!! I don't know if the shop owner was telling the truth or not?? but my friend said that the shop owner's face was certain of what he was talking about. |

Never read about a Black Tetsujin SG-01, it's probably a custom or a prototype.

I've never heard of it. I know of a black Guardian, Godsigma, Daltanious, and Raideen.
Then NONE of the collector books have it...... I'm pretty connected to the HK scene too. -Never been mentioned there either.
BUT.... you kever know.
I was actually considering making one recently.

hello guys , this is a funny story cuz i dont know much about popy or godaikin toys , i collect modern robots toys like Aoshima - fewture - SoC -Max robots , I went to japan like 3 weeks ago for the first time and while i was scanning the used items street there i found a huge tetsujin box so i kept looking at it when the seller saw me he thought im intrested so he talked with me and was trying to explain to me why this toy is very amazing he said it was missing 2 red missels though and then when i seemed very impressed he told me that there is a black version of it that exist but foreign collectors doesnt know about im not really sure if it exist since i didnt see it or was at that moment intrested in it cuz i dont collect popy , even this i didnt tell it to my friend till he talked to me about the tetsujin popy box the other day , so i told him this story and asked him to check with you guys if anybody seen it or knows about it, i dont know the name of the shop but its in the used items street in akihabara back of soto three , if u found a shop with that tetsujin u can check , but if old japanese popy collectors will no valid this then i guess it was a trick of the seller to see if im a popy collector or not lol anyways hope i helped and sorry if my english wasnt that good  |
