Yes ! In Italy the very first time that grendizer appeared was called Atlas UFO robot
What you see is the only boxed driller known at the moment
It is 1978 made by italian fabianplastica , and it is the one of the rarest grendizer toys existing.

I have been searching online days 'n days for the best Grendizer action figure and best garage kit! For the action figure, I believe I am also adding my voice that the GX 04S is the best UFO Robo Grendizer action figure you can get! The legs are not weak as some people claimed and it's even bigger in size than the Metaltech01 version (soon they will launch 01+ for the Spazer). Checkout this cool review... www.youtube.co/watch?v=Z7_bB0kapsUI am a big grendizer fan so i was wondering is this the best grendizer to own?

I don't have any of the SOC Grendies... ...but, hey, Go for it! Get it with the Spacer set if you can. Most folks here are happy with theirs. Wish I could afford it, then i'd get it too. zozo-Magengar

Well, to be honest...I know that having the GX-04S is a dream for every Grendizer fan but when $ is the issue, then you have to reconsider! So, I'm more concerned 'bout Grendizer & its Spazer! Revoltech version is cool with wicked poses but only 12 cm, which I dislike how small it is (the same goes to Revoltech Mazinkaiser, so cool but so small)...www.youtube.co/watch?v=Nq5KWYfy1Sc...So, I am thinking also about Metaltech01 Dizer, specially that Metaltech01+ will bring us its Spazer on November 2010 to be compatible with the already released Metaltech01 Dizer. Yet, still the GX-04S bigger in size and I guess looks better! ;D You are right, guys, I think GX-04S is a MUST to the true Dizer fans! So, is there's any topic about Grendizer garage kits here? I don't have any of the SOC Grendies... ...but, hey, Go for it! Get it with the Spacer set if you can. Most folks here are happy with theirs. Wish I could afford it, then i'd get it too. zozo-Magengar

Hey, welcome to the site! Yeah, I think that Bandai got it right when they made the SOC. But looking at that photo again, I think an old-fashioned waist-sticker would have rocked.

Thanks a lot for the welcoming! I should have been on here long time ago...but life's just drivin' me into crazy paths. Old fashion always rules, my friend! They say old is gold...Hey, welcome to the site! Yeah, I think that Bandai got it right when they made the SOC. But looking at that photo again, I think an old-fashioned waist-sticker would have rocked.

Actually I was very intrigued by the set High Dream put out a few years ago. It was smaller, but had all the Spazers, and I think Grendizer was fairly well articulated. I think he was about the size of a GI Joe.

What I'll Never understand is the combination of Chrome limbs with a Metallic waist on the Grendizer SOC (and many other SOCs which got that same treatment!)... ...Look at the black Grendy SOC: the metallic scheme is all Consistent throughout the limbs and waist; so why didn't Bandai do the same with the anime-colored SOC version? Metallic, or Chrome, doesn't matter- but Jeez, I wish the paint scheme were Consistent. LOL! Ok, if I had a choice between the HD Grendy and the SOC, I'd go with the SOC; for its damn good sculpt. The HD Grendy looks like his hands and limbs are hangin by the sprues! ;D Garage kits: Yo, I would Definitely LUV to see a MechaCollection Grendizer model kit, Hands Down! zozo-Magengar

I have a GA-37 in its box...it is a Grendizer and UFO Spacer...I think this is a good one? (Just opened up my toybox and pulled out all of my old Japanese toys from the early 70's. My uncles bought these for me when I was 6 on my first visit to Japan. I think I only got one more in my 76' visit. I kept about 8 of these robot type toys...only 1 Grendizer though..I traded one away for some baseball cards back in junior high..I am trying to figure out which one I traded. For some reason...even at the age of six I knew these were special. I kept the boxes with these but never did with my American toys.
