Ouch! That does seem expensive - even with the airplane wings intact.
And the box is a little banged-up too.
I wonder if the US box is more valuable than the Japanese one?

Ouch! Way to much.
Kinda disturbing too, Kong is next up on my Ark hit list so this isn't the sort of market trend I was looking for.
(Btw. Anyone got on for sale? Loose is fine and I'm not even that bothered about the plane)

And of course, being on the cover of the Matt Alt book has pushed up its profile somewhat.
And although they're not exactly hyper-rare...we're back to supply and demand again.
The seller did get lucky, but in fairness, I haven't seen one with the full airplane for years, so if you want one that's 100%, you're fishing in a very small pond.

Nice one , sketcher. I have 5 Ark toys. They are all very unique but I have a special feeling for Mecha King because it just seem so much more perfect than the rest.
I must say for that particular bid, the seller got lucky but the buyer also has a winning item. So, it is a bit of win win in the form of 60:40. Not bad.

But hey, money has different value to different people, so if this is reasonable to you, then go for it (no disrespect intended). I just think you can find it for $350 and under if you are patient. |
