Hello, I just bought a tin Zambot windup tricycle and I would like to know more about it. All I've been able to find out on my own is that it was made by Clover in 1977. I don't know anything about the value, history, etc., of the piece, so I don't know if it was a wise purchase or even if it possibly could be a knockoff. This is the only pic I have as I haven't actually received it yet. Any help or info anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is probably legit. I've seen quite a few other cycle style robots. Grandizer and Mazinga come to mind. That is a vintage toy Ed

Thanks. I've seen the windup walking ones before, like Jeeg and Mazinger, but not one on a tricycle.

Your link is dead, but I think you are talking about this: I absolutely love these. Super funky. Such an odd representation of the character. I will own them all...

Yes that's it, this is the one I have: [glow=red,2,300][/glow] My first thought was to sell it, but I am going to keep it. I paid $91 for it, do you think that's a fair price?

Very FUNKY darlycav. Bullmark also did quite a few of the whole "characters on a tricycle" thing as well. I have a really cool Mirrorman on his tricycle, complete with a tin bell on the back....that's to scare all the baddies away as he rides to the rescue. ;D
