I bought it as part of a lot... I have these guys in the individual boxes, so I thought it a bit redundant to have two of each! ; )
(Side note, I never seem to see the DX set in a nice box. Every time I see it for sale the box is really worn. What up with that?)

By the way, I've been meaning to chime on on the discussion in another thread regarding the rarity of the DX Bullmark sets. Based on what I've seen, I'd say that the DX Mekanda set is the most rare by far, with the DX Diapolon set coming in a close second, and the DX Daibaron set as far easier to find than either of them.
I guess if the DX Mekanda were a "1" and the Daibaron were a "10" on the rarity scale, I'd put the Diapolon as maybe a "3"...
Regardless, I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed. ; )

ive seen daipolon earlier... not the dx but the 3 boxes selling for $3k+, i wonder how the dx set would go for...
if mekanda dx is priced like that, it most likely wont last a day ^_^

IMHO I'll mention that Daibaron DX box set is quite rare if you pay attention to the two versions. There is a European/export version that has the "Daishin" logo in the lower cello and box corner. It has, I believe, the Bullmark stamping omitted from the toy back. The very rare version is the Bullmark logo box and cello cover with logo. Then the toy has the Bullmark logo on the back. I'm a Bullmark nerd

Ah yes. What IS the deal with that version I wonder.
Have you ever seen the DX Header box that has no Bullmark logo, but "HEADER" in English? Weird.

>do you have a book about bullmark toys? There are several books out there about Bullmark, but all of them are in Japanese, and the one that has the most pictures, "Bullmark Chronicle" is pretty focussed on vinyl toys. There are some of the die cast monsters in there, but that's about it. Here's a shot of the cover: books.yahoo.co.jp/book_detail/30887403

I think it's a good price. Mine is a complete set with clean box and it's way more than your price. So, I must say, it's a good catch. Congrats

I don't understand how you can prefer a gasshin set very played and incomplete compared to three boxes version definitely in better condition. At the end spending is the same. Have a nice day!

Hi, if you have one complete set for sale for the same price I'd be pleased to buy it from you. Please let me know. The last complete set I saw on YJ went for 150.000Yen...

Sorry, I'm not a seller but only a collector. In any case, the problem in my opinion is not what it costs a three boxes version mint in box, but what it costs a Gasshin Set c-7 played and incomplete, often without cover box.

O'k, I get the point. But from what I see in the pictures from my auction is an almost complete toy (only 2 minor accessories are missing, besides I didn't notice them in 3 box version) + it does not look like "very played".
