Hey guys, I'm curious about the Royal Condor Pentabot. I understand that this version is a variation of the original Poplar Acrobunch. My question is:
1. Is the Pentabot the same with Poplar Acrobunch? I've heard that Pentabot is essentially a repackaged Acrobunch. Therefore, in my understanding, it is a made in Japan Acrobunch packed by a company called Royal Condor as Pentabot to be distributed, and not Royal Condor's own product.
2. Or, is the Pentabot a licensed Acrobunch produced and packaged by Royal Condor - therefore the product is made in Taiwan?
Can somebody please clarify this to me? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about manufacturing, and I don't own the Poplar one, but the Pentabot is a pretty nice toy. Tons of diecast, and sizeable. I believe it s a very good copy of the original, and you can usually pick one up pretty cheap. If you are desperate for one, I have a loose beat up one I can sell ya, but if you have patience, seek out a complete boxed one.

I had posted a similar query some time ago,and as far as I can tell they are identical except for packaging and hallmarks.

Thanks for all the replies. So I guess it wouldn't make much difference to seek either one, then, unless you're happen to be someone who just have to get the Japan version...
Thanks again!
