With these two and their heavy price as well as rarity , which one is preferable by most owners, display them or put them safely away in their boxes? I currently dare myself to put them in the glass display , with one dehumidifer and one piece charchoal behind each of them to ensure maximum dryness. Is that enough, though? What else can I do to prevent corrosive? I really don't want to wake up several years onward to find them in such condition

Personally, unless they;re sealed in their boxes - in which case I'm not all that interested - I take them out and display them loose.
I know they're rare etc. but they're worthless if they're hidden. It sounds like you're taking sufficient precautions to preserve them anyway, but honestly - I've had some figures on display for over 10 years, and there's been no deterioration at all. Sure, I'm careful, and I dust them occasionally, but that's it. The only precaution I can think of is to keep them out of direct sunlight, as that can fade paint & plastic. The only other common thing that can affect bare metal is oil/grease from fingers. I've never had a problem, but I think it can be. Again, wipe them clean, and I'm sure you'll be OK.
The other thing is that these things are just old toys, and while condition has an impact on value; rarity, completeness, and provenance are far more important. I can't see a NRFB Daibaron being worth all that much more than a MIB, 100%, clean, well-cared-for example. They don't come up for sale that often, so collectors don't have the luxury of choice or competition. There's more buyers than sellers at that level.
And who wants to keep a toy in its box anyway - enjoy it!
As an aside, the Hot Wheels market is probably more mature than the robot one, and has some extraordinarily high price items. In that arena, they expect some aging on the toys - it's part of their charm (as long as it's just aging - not damage of course!). They are also quite hapy opening their blister packs as well..

I have the Mekanda Technical Gassin set, the Tri Max Gassin car set, the Dai Barron DX box, and the semi-DX Dai barron. All of these were purchased new back in 1977-79. I have played with, displayed, and stored the pieces many times over the years. No white gloves. I've never had a glass cabinet- just regular old book shelves. When the toys get dusty, I dust them. When I get tired of them, I put them away in their boxes. The boxes are put in cardboard boxes, and stored in a closet. Nothing special. No extraordinary measures. The toys are fine.
