Hi guys, I am after some help a friend of mine knowing that I am a toy collector asked me about two vintage argentine circa 1960 tin robots, I know one is similar to a japanese model but the other the Daisa one, is not common, in fact very rare no one here knows about this one (Daisa was a toy company that made kitchen toys) for pics please check here: usuarios.arnet.com.ar/norbertos/robots.htmif anyone can give me some help it would be very appreciated, thanks Norberto Argentina norbertos@arnet.com.ar

I have seen a similar tin toy, but it was Japanese made .

That Daisa robot is gorgeous (to me)- it screams 1950's and has designer kitsch written all over it! That's the sort of toy you'd see in a museum because the style and color typify post war modernism. It's a jewel alright and if you ever want to trade something for it drop me an email.
