I just want wanna say "hello" to everybody here! I'm from Germany and I collecting vintage japanese robots & other space toy for about...well since i'm a kid...seriously since 15 years. well born in the early 60ties i grew up in the "golden age" of japanese space toys. i always loved mattel's big jim, action man, etc and had a short liaison with star wars figures at the end of the 70ties. But my heart belongs to...Japanese-Heavy-Metal and huge Jumbo-Plastic. I started in the early 70ties with Horikawa's (all kind of tin robots), in the late 70ties i got my first Popy. BANG! I still have it: Getter Dragun. I wanted more, and i got more...i'm a only child ;D At this time you could buy Shogun Warriors, Ark's and a few Popy robots in germany. I still have the original boxed Popy's, with german stickers on the back of the box. well, than came the time: school, girls, party, car,study,...but no money, time and interest for collecting "toys". but that changed when i found (i think around 1990) a MIB Shogun Warriors Dragun on a flea market. BANG! back in business thats my story, hope i didnt bore you too much. greetings from germany p.s.: if someone is interested to see how 70ties german popy boxes look like, i could post pictures (hope its not to complicated).

yo, works! thx adirui just made pics of some of the "german" boxed popy toys. as u can see normal japanese boxes with ugly big stickers. the german distributer was very "creative" with his new names, that was common in the 70ties. i have lots of old german godzilla movieposters from that time. godzilla was renamed in king kong... back to popy: Kagestar becomes Kagero, Blue Machine = Bluestar,... holy sh*t.....i loved my Kagero on his crazy bike as a kid.

Yes, very nice collection. Post some more.
That's one heck of a KO you have in one of the pics - Daimos' body, Grendizer's head, and Daltanias' arms. I think I've seen that before with the box, but I haven't seen it in a while.

KingboyD...yeah italian early 80ties knock-off-grandizer-wanna-be-bots @admin1 fotos are coming, i have much work right now (job), i try to make them at the weekend But I want to show you something. A nice "find" on a fleamarket, 2 years ago. Boxes look like they where on the ground of the ocean for years, but the price was inside. No joke, the robots where in a great shape. ca.10 $

@admin1 ...there is more. but mostly non-japanese stuff. tons of superhero action figures, mcfarlane figures, masters of the universe, etc etc I also collect vintage gojira & kaiju eiga movieposters & lobbycards that where released in germany, france, belgium, etc (60ties/70ties). edit/ here are some shots of italian "hermaphrodite" bots Star Defender, no infos what brand made him. he's made in hong kong and i got him from italy (long time ago). ...and the "ROBOT" robots these guys are from italy. brand name "LFA"?!, no more infos, no marks on robo-bodies. There are 4 different robots in that toyline, all frankenstein-like-mixed-together-bots (daimos, grendizer, groizer, daltanious). they have metal bodies&legs (heavy), they could shot their fists, have rocket launchers in their legs etc... italy meets japan ....i wanna be Leoparodon (same italian brand as the "ROBOTs" above)
