Oh, man, some very tasty (and pricey) items in there. And yes, seeing is very dangerous. After seeing, curiosity makes kids want to touch (and hell, you'd have to hold me back from ripping the doors off to cop a feel if I saw all those staring at me). Awsome display and items!

That's awesome Ed! I can't wait for mine to stare in awe at it all. I've been meaning to compliment you on the piece you wrote a couple of weeks ago. Very insightful.
Love your display method btw.

Is she your daughter Ed? How cute...I have 3, 2 daughters and a son. All of which know better than to touch my stuff. But it took some "training" for that. Love the cabinets by the way!

Thanks Erik S. The entire kid thing has caused me to revisit how I store things, enjoy items, and what I show the kid. I pretty well realized that I need to prioritize and display items better and share. Grace will be getting her own toys and SGT says, will be taught to not touch dad's items... unless I ok it. Glad you like the display method and article Both things took quite a few drafts or trys to get right. Thanks SGT and Tsurugi on the display compliment. I decided to reorganize things and begin to share pics. Hopefully soon I'll do another RJ article on just the collection itself. Hopefully I can pull it off in good taste. Ed

completely besides that this is a extremely wonderful vintage collection you got there admin1.... but since I am waiting for my first child, a daughter, to be born in december, this really shows how it's going to be and I really like the outlook! though right now 98% of my collection resides in boxes as my office will be the new crib for our baby, there isn't much she could appreciate to have a look at right now. just hope we get our house or a bigger flat soon. can't wait to get some detolfs and start arranging... also can't wait to see which robots she will prefer, or maybe she's more into my designer vinyl ;D

Congrats, toystarr, being a a proud father of two daughters...word of advice, at least for me, my son slept through the night from day 1. Both my daughters are drama queens from day 1. LOL.
