Is it possible to dye gundam and transformers plastic? also where can i buy black dye and how do you apply it? thanks

never heard of that technique, may work on white parts but not sure about color parts, never hurts to try though

Dyeing palstics was done for r/c car parts, although I've never done it myself. It involves soaking the parts in a hot water/dye mixture. It works best on plastics like nylon, which feels very different from the plastics used in most models and toys. I would imagine that it wouldn't work. RIT dye will work on plastics used on most model kits and toys. I don't believe they will work well with ABS plastic, however.

Yeah, this will work, but it really depends on the plastic. Softer plastics take the dye very well, but even then they aren`t necessarily going to stay that way. The colours seem to shift and fade over time...not very stable.
