In a surprise twist, Overman King Gainer had an upset victory over EVA 01! Part One's Champions are Getter 1 and Gainer!
On to the second round! We've got a lot of heavy hitters this time around, it should be a tight race. As before, the poll will be open for a week before we move on to round three.
And don't forget: vote for TWO ;D

Hmm this stage i'll pick Getter 3 and Mazin . .
despite of Mazin defectiveness it's still a good sculpt.

Giant Robo is still one of the best of the whole line. IMHO.

Hmm i gotta to admit it, at this line. He is the best sculpt and paint. To bad the series is not that popular as getter and mazin.

Would it be improper for me to "bump" this topic? We need more votes!
Also, how do you guys want to handle the Exclusive, limited, etc. figures? Should we have a poll for them after we finish with the core Yamaguchi series?

Giant Robo is an awesome figure and an awesome all around design. The fade work on his booster pack is top quality.

That customs poll should be very interesting...I'd want to vote for at least half of them, haha!

I finally bought a Revoltech No. 46 Starscream today. I've been meaning to do this after I saw it with other Revoltech Transformers figures on display at Animate in Hong Kong. I had already bought both No.19 Convoy and Ultra Magnus. However, when Starscream was first released, it didn't appeal to me. In fact, I thought it was cheap-looking with Kaiyodo putting the least effort in the design and sculpt since they were rushing it to the market to make a quick buck. Well, I was wrong after I saw it displayed out of the box. Now, I'm also thinking of getting the Revoltech Rodimus, especially since the Revoltech Transformers are selling here for around US$11 each. As for my favorite Revoltech, it'll have to be Mazinkaizer and Tetsujin No. 28. They're not the most poseable figures, but I like them because I like any classic super robot. However, I find any of the Revoltech Transfomers easier to pose with the joints clicking into place and the figure able to balance on its own without the stand.

I thought Optimus was pretty good. But his cannon was too heavy and so his swivel arm was not able to hold certain poses. I voted Maz & Griffon J9. Griffon just looks bad ass, a black angel with jet fighter lines.

Agreed bro cedar, also sometimes the hand connector tends to snap if we're not too careful bro. Still, optimus is the man! Nice purchase bro roboto. The latest TF Revo have these really cool glossy color finish to them. Just a tiny tidbit advice bro when buying Hot Rod. I noticed that most (atleast in my country) of the TF Logo on Hotrods chest is cut short of its chin. Try to be picky when getting him. Just minor QC qualms bro. ;D It should look more fuller as with the protopics above. pics from Hs.Custom poll is a welcome addtion i'd vote a couple few outstanding home made.. My fav. revo is yet to come on part 3 and 4

Thanks for letting me know about the qc problem with the TF Logo on Rodimus, mechaleleng. I've come to expect every Revoltech to have qc problems, but it's good to select the one with the least. I wouldn't have known what to look out for if you haven't told me about the TF Logo. Anyway, a local toy distributor imported too many to meet actual demand, so now TF Starscream and Rodimus are on sale for NT$380 (US$ 11) at a discount toyshop in Taipei.
