That's true. Cm's also has a similar system, and even Evolution Toy has one too. But who can really complain when we are talking about ENEMY robot figures! }D

You need to take a picture of all the baddies now like Garada and Daishogun. That would make a foemidible force now!

LOL... I would do it right now if I could. But the collection room is still packed with boxes from my move. As far as the Gin Gin, I like it. It is not worth $119.99 shipped that I paid for it, thou. I would say it is worth from $50 to $70. You know, maybe a little more money than the original Metaltech 01 Grendizer in it's big box. And only because it has the Saucer Shields/Saw. When I bought the Giru Giru directly from HL Pro, I paid something like 9800 JPY with EMS shipping included. So, yeah, Gin Gin is quite over-priced. If I had to point out one thing that I did not like on the Gin Gin, besides the high price, it would be the plastic used on the shoulders. It looks cheap for some reason. It doesn't mean that it will break apart any time soon, but it just looks like very cheap plastic. Again, how many enemy robots can we find out there? Yes, there have been some recent vinyl ones being made (for Mazinger Z), but they look like little kids toys and are VERY EXPENSIVE. We are truly lucky that a company is making these type of characters, in diecast, even if they are not 100% perfect in every way. }D

Yeah its a niche market that HLPRO has cornered now and being relatively small we can expect higher then expected prices but in the end its up to the collector to decide if its worth it or not. I know I'm getting one. Personally I would continue and not worry about the hero mechs, I would love to see some baddies from Getter Robo G.

I checked Entertainment Earth, overseas shipping is way way too expensive! Thanks

HLpro is the manufacturer.. they don't sell them, just make them when they are ordered by the distibutors. The main distributor is PBM for the USA. In fact HLpro doesn't even set the prices, the distributors and retailers do. shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.688859/it.A/id.271/.fthere is PBM, you may be able to find one cheaper but you would have to look for it. TMZ, I have heard that you can sometimes find middle eastern retail sellers selling things for the type of money youre talking about, the more they order the better deal they get on them and the retail price goes down sometimes. Prices on Gin Gin seem to be going up a bit.. I think they are selling out. There are no price controls on HLpro stuff (like most other makers).. it sells for whatever the retailer thinks the market can bear.

Chen, some things may end up costing less depending on the character and how many of them are ordered into production. Each character will be its own situation. Gin Gin is a specialty character, its going to cost a little more because they aren't going to make them in real high numbers.
Now, I guess its safe for me to say that Grendizer V2 is expected to sell very well.. and not all of them will be "Deluxe kits".. so. a single Grendy figure on its own with a few things like weapons and fists could come in at a very reasonable price. It just depends on the market situation at that time..

Hey TMZ, I was looking at those shoulders on Gin Gin to see what you were talking about and I see it now. Its because the shoulders weren't painted like the body was so there is difference between the gloss and the plastic. I bet just a slight buff with buffing compound would take care of that .. or a touch of gloss paint.

Got my replacement gin gin today. Pretty much flawless! I can't believe they sent me a whole new figure free of charge. Now I have two... I was thinking of selling the slightly defective one, but then I realized I can now display the ship and gin gin in robot mode at the same time!

I wish CMs was the same way with their Grendizer. Do you still have the broken giru giru? Want to send it my way? lol
