LOL... Yeah, I fixed it with a metal pin. As a matter of fact, it is the one I had out on display back in CA. The one HLPro sent me is still sealed in its box (well, not sealed - I checked it when it arrived). Sorry, but Giru Giru doesn't wanna leave its incarcerated twin brother by itself... }D

HLpro WILL stand behind its product.. I guess that extra little cost comes with some extra assurance. I broke my Great Mazinger 12" action figure sword the day I got it.. I just contacted them and told them the truth.. I dropped it when he had the sword in his hand and the fist cut it off at the sword hilt... no problem .. few days later they sent me a new sword. As long as it happens within the first few days of its arrival.. they got you covered. Great guys over there at Hlpro

So, I got my MT04 today. My quick thoughts: - - In real, the side-horns aren't that weird looking as in the photos, but I'll try to modify them though. - The spinning razors, as all of you said, needed better pegs. - The screws on any figure's backside should always be covered or painted. - The TFO bonus, <sigh> I have 3 now. As someone said, more minifos would have been a better idea! - A bit pricey for its quality and finishing. - It is not an impressive figure but a nice one to have. I give it 6/10

I understand why they put the TFO in there.. it was a big part of the episode and for me it was good, I don't have a TFO and they are hard to find now. Plus this one is die cast.. I think a die cast TFO and 2 or 3 enemy mini disks would have been PERFECT.. even if he enemy disks were plastic It would have been perfect... maybe a future Gendizer release will have enemy disks.
6?... 6 is too low man, really? I can understand 7 maybe, but 6 seems to low to me. For me, I think 8, maybe 8.5 ... its a big improvement over Grendizer V1 in my opinion.

As much as is as a reference scene of the TFO getting crush by Gin Gin, for me the minifos betrayal scene left more of an impact.

yeah mini disk betrayal is a good point.. that's why I think both a tfo and a few mini disks would have been a 10/10

Funny how Grendizer's attacks didn't even scratch Gim Gin, but a couple of shots from the weakling Minifos easily took it down. That was really weak... }D

Funny how Grendizer's attacks didn't even scratch Gim Gin, but a couple of shots from the weakling Minifos easily took it down. That was really weak... }D Tmz there's a good explanation for that! You see Gin Gin is not your typical enban jue (ufo monster) and captain gormen is not your typical vegan commander! He is one of Vega body gaurds and the robot is made specifically for the gaurds! The shield discs of the robot are made of the strongest metal avaliable at vega which is called (Super Veganiom) which is maybe even stronger than the Gurren alloy that was used to build grendizer ! But it is very heavy so they can't use it to cover the entire robot! That is why the bodyguards of vega depends heavily on these shields disks in their fights agains all type of attacks and it is up to the pilot mastering of piloting the robot using the combination of un destructible shields and the lethal weapons and attacks and most importantly (DON'T GET HIT IN THE BODY) Same thing happened with other bodyguard commander Zigra with his robot Zera Zera Sorry for the nerd talk guys

I appreciate that explanation very much.
Although I've only watched two or three episodes, I was gonna ask Why do all the alien enemy robots in this series have UFO disks to their bodies; and if they had any weak target points.

Got my Grendizer (chrome version) and his Spazer last Friday, loving the set! Too bad Grendizer can't combine with his Spazer properly (without removing the legs).

The Enemies from Gredizer were aliens from a Galactic level Empire made up of Vegans who ran the show and other aliens that they have assimilated into the Empire. The Enemy robots themselves were often "spacecraft" in the form of flying saucer type UFOs that could travel through space, enter the Earths atmosphere and then transform into a humanoid or some kind of a mechanical monster and get to work fighting Grendizer. Now Grendizer himself was a "enemy robot" Duke Fleed stole him from the Vegan Fleet and used it to escape to Planet Earth.. similar to the Superman story. (long story) Now later on, the Vegans would take animals both Earth animals and alien animals and make them grow larger and put cybernetic implants in them and use them as "enemy robots" also.. Like Gori Gori, he was a Gorilla that they turned into a bionic "King Kong"... that was a good episode also. That's why Gori Gori couldn't turn into a "UFO"... he was from earth! ha ha
