I got my Mazinger Z 12" action figure in.. man its good. I like it better than Great Mazinger actually.. he comes with a lot of really nice stuff too.. Ill do a video review when I have my camerawoman with me..

A whole lot cheaper LOL! The HLpro is vinyl also,and sculpt is a WAY different approach..they look cool,but the silver cuffs dont make sense around the wrists and ankles.But nice! Pic is TMZs.I like how they are scaled to each other.  |

I am loving this 12" Vinyl action figure... out of the two that I have I think this Mazinger Z is the better figure. Mostly because of the character design, it allows for a greater range of motion. He seems more expressive than the Great Mazigner. Compared to the DX, I think the sculpt is better in some ways, more basic and primal, nothing falls off, its a tough figure.. something you can "play with". The sculpt holds its own against the DX, especially for the price. He looks die cast right up to the point where you pick him up.. still hefty though. Articulation is super good for a vinyl and because vinyl flexes you can get some extra expression in his body language. Seems they sold a lot of them in Europe but not that many in the US, this is the last batch of them before they are discontinued.. if you guys want one get it now before they are all gone... ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK! Its big, looks good, comes with cool stuff and the price is around 100USD for something that looks like it costs much more.
Video review tomorrow I think..

I think they are awesome,just the silver cuffs dont belong on them,not sure why HLPro added them,but no big deal,Id like to own them too,but I dont collect vinyl.They look great together Gettershadow congrats!

the DX has gold cuffs I think doesn't it?, anyway its vinyl, and its all acrylic paint that you can get at the arts and craft stores covered in acrylic clear coat.. super easy to work with.. painting those cuffs blue would be a 10 min job.. personally I didn't notice it until you mentioned it.. they look great in person. I thought you had some of these..

No cuffs on the DX,SOC,or SRC some SOCs have them like the GX-07 line{Energer,Iron Z,and the white pileder Mazinger},but not Mazinger proper(Toei Mazinger represented by above and DX}.I also believe the comic version SOC Maz has them too.

My src has dark silver wrists.. it think its just supposed to suggest a "wrist" it looks good in person...but if you don't like it, it could be easily painted over.. its just a thin pinstripe in a little groove.. edit, I actually just pulled a fist off it again and the whole front is painted silver, but when the hand is installed you only have a little pinstripe running around the wrist.. to me it just serves as a suggestion of wrist articulation.. looks pretty cool to me actually..but it would be real easy to delete if you wanted to.. I wouldn't though..Im leaving it. |

I really want the 3 of them. Maybe next year youd have to move fast on Mazinger Z and Grendizer.. this is the last batch and they will dry up pretty soon.. Grate Mazinger is going to around for a while and a new character is going to be announced pretty soon.. |

The Mazinger Z has always been teh hardest one to find in teh past of the 3 12".Great is teh easiest then Grendizer.

I didn't like the Great Mazinger much. The Mazinger Z was the best, closely followed by Grendizer. Great Mazinger was just, bleh...  }D |

yeah and I think it was the character, not so much the figure itself.. just something kind of boring about that character in this application. just us I guess..
