The anime-likeness of this 12" figure series is very good but the quality is very bad! All the customers I know who bought Grendizer got his legs and other parts loose or falling apart!
HL PRO needs to refine its quality a bit for the prices they're selling their merchandise.

oh, here we go again...
Waleed, everybody knows you were the biggest HLPRO fan of all times.. the CEO blocked you , then all of a sudden you hate the figures... I have had the Great Mazinger in this series for almost 2 years, I never had any serious problems with that figure. Only thing I did was superglue the chest piece in place... and HLpro said they originally were going to glue it in there but then left it unglued as an option to the owner, so he could have a "great boomerang" if he wanted. I chose to glue it though..

NOPE, go back about a year.. I said right here in this forum to everyone that if you buy a few figures at once and ask PBM for a discount they will give you one.. that is no secret! PBM even matched some prices for other guys right here on this forum.. PBM has a tendency to "work with you"... all you gotta do is ask and see what they say.

I had this 12" figure in my hands. Its quality is poor. I bought the Marmit figure instead...less articulation but superb quality. If someone wants to buy it, it's up to you but I had to <honestly> say what I had to say. I would like to ask keeping this thread for the Metaltech talk though...It's not a PVC / Vinyl figure thread!

But HLpro made the "Marmit" figure too...

But HLpro made the "Marmit" figure too... I know, so you see...I am not against HL PRO. I just say the truth about each figure in a fair way...and nobody will force me to lie if the quality is poor or if the design sucks! I assume you saw how I bravely admitted I was so wrong about the SRC Grendizer, but not about Metaltech Gin Gin or this 12" fig. cuz I have all these figures between my hands! End. Peace.

I would never call the 12" action figure series "poor quality"... sorry, I just do not see that. I would say "real nice sculpt and above average quality, especially for a vinyl."
End Peace.

But HLpro made the "Marmit" figure too... nope.... hlpro didn't do the marmit!! they just rerleased the marmit version that was done long time before even HLPRO was founded !! the marmit flosr line is great line and hlpro just assigned marmit to reproduce it for them!! that is why the quality is very different I am with Dammage7 on this!! I like them but they tend to fall apart and loosen joints really fast over time!! they are lower quality than Marmit FLOSR but all in all I love them .... because there isn't any alternatives!

the figure he is showing should be made by HLpro if the box has a red line around it. Marmit and HLpro did business together on several figures... just depends.
well I have had my Great Mazinger for almost 1 year now (I just checked).. and the joints are still the same, maybe the click joints have softened and that good because they were too hard at first. . Now if you mean the forearms then yeah, heating and cooling inside your house over time will cause them to get loose.. but hot water tightens them back up.. just my experience. That's just the way vinyl is..
my video still stands as it is.. I gave my opinion as I saw the figure.. in fact, I don't think I even "rated" the figure, I just said it was cool and it looked good.
also, there is a Marmit FLOSR Getter 1 at my local store, unboxed.. it looks great but you pick it up and its light as a feather..and no articulation to speak of. I don't think you can compare the two figures... just totally different. and I can make a video of my Great Mazinger if you want and all of his joints are still really tight . I think I have had him for almost one full year.. I can only say what I see. Now, I don't have Grendizer.. maybe that is a different story, I don't know... but I cant see how they could be different.
Now when I look inside the shoulder of my Mazinger Z , I see something red in there.. like a gasket.. my GM doesn't have that from what I can see.. maybe they have upgraded them in later batches?
I have tried to be as fair as I can with these figures in my videos, I make them because there are not many English video reviews on these and I don't bother reviewing my other figures because there are already tons of reviews on those. If I see something I like, I say it... If I see something that I don't like, I say it... if anyone can point out something in any of my videos that is deceptive or unfair, I will review the video again and see if your argument has merit.. but I know Im honest so I don't think youre going to find anything in there.. I didn't lie about any of them... I just said what I saw and gave my opinion.. your opinion may differ but that is with everyone.

Yeah ... hlpro did try to base most of their grendizers on the marmit floser one ! To a point were I got sick of that sculpt! Ironacly that sculpt has some problems that make it not so anime accurate! Like the area on the back of grendizer where the double harakane should meet ! They don't meet on the flosr one!

Hmmm... I don't know, gents. I have two 12" HLPro Grendizers, two 12" HLPro Great Mazingers, and three 12" HLPro Mazinger Z vinyl figures. I bought all of them upon their initial release (not re-release). I have not had any problems of their joints failing at all. The only figure(s) that gave me a little heartache were the two Great Mazingers. Their Chest Boomerang will not stay on at all! I modified one of them with earth magnets on the boomerang and inside the figure's chest so the damn thing would stop falling off so easily. So, in my personal experience, these figures are pretty good. The legs are limited in articulation due to their anime accurate designs (hip connections), and they don't have a waist joint. But they are very cool articulated vinyl figures indeed. Of course, just like any other company, bad batches are produced all the time. Look at CM's for example... }D

Chen, I wish everyone would just focus on the figures, loving them and praising them, or hating them and bashing them - but only the figures. But you know that never happens here or any other posts. }|

Do I see a better modified less-stretched head now...or is it just the angle of the camera? Comparing it with the lower photo (with the silly stretched head) the one above looks more Roboizer to me.
