Why Im so happy is with Tryder coming ,Albegas out and now Roboizer/Gattaiger on the way the list of Classic super robots left to have modern renditions is shrinking...Under 10 left or less! Mainly the biggest names we need are Daikengo and Diapolon...

I wish to have either SRC or Revoltech classics [Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, UFO Robo Grendizer, Getter Robo/G and Kotetsu Jeeg] and/or moderns [Great Mazinger, UFO Robo Grendizer, Shin Getter Robo, Mazinkaiser and Kotetsushin Jeeg].

Im just happy companies are now putting out the last of the missing SRs.I dont care who puts them out,I just want them OUT!Please no revoltech though for me..Id rather eat pretzels than display them.Revoltech joints are awful,they are always crooked even at their straigtest point! |

no, they said they made slight changes to the sculpt on both the head and the body.. they told me that today. The figure that you are seeing today in that teaser photo is probably just a photoshopped photo of the original prototype. They said the changes were very slight, no drastic changes are planned.

yep, not cheap at all... Dispaly stand and/or base could be done by ourselves (Magengar & the paper tray <- clever )... I purchased the Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Base from #1 to 10 : these are great and combine in different axis.  Also picked up 2 x Main Hanger Body (very nice) : a lot of possibilities.   |

I'd like to have some of those mechanic chain bases, but, dang, ya gotta buy several of them just to have a different background/equipment configuration every time you wanna change your display. No fun. I'd rather have ONE that does Everything. I still like those. And, I'd get one. However, I wish only ONE chain base could work in multiple configurations. If I want more Base space, then I'd go ahead and buy a few more. Here I was thinking you discovered a new display base in the market-- that's why I was all excited. lol zozo-mag |

Just wish when they make stuff like this they were NOT universal,in thinking you get all robots covered and everyone will buy...that is a mistake,make say a Grendizer or Mazinger base like that then EVERYONE will buy.these bases need to be Super Robot specific.I mean no one is going to buy ten of these,So why not just make one type for a specific robot,the same people will buy it and more. thanks Baron and Chen for that link to the HLPro base... ....DAAAAAAAYum! I want that base! THAT is a Base!!! I agree with you, bases should be super-robot specific. But I want that HLPro base, tho! Or, I would at least want to gather some wood and build a base similar to that style.  zozo-mag |

I think its ok for me to say that a "Character specific" base is a "hard sell", it limits the potential buyers. Also a universal base/repair hanger can be used with products from OTHER manufacturers.. you can display any character from any manufacturer as long as it is about the same size as a MT. If memory serves, this repair hanger also comes with LED searchlights and things... its going to be cool.
I think it will sell pretty well.. its wide open for SRC collectors.
