even that could be taken to extremes.. its not science its all artwork and imagination .. even the original drawings in the animes were just artwork.. and it varied a lot.

There are no 100% anime accurate action figures because they are imposible to make. Fixed pose statues, yeah, but never action figures. Joints always screw up the anime design. But everybody knows that. Even action figures like Aquarion, whose anime was made after the action figure, did not turn out 100% anime accurate. What bugs me the most is when the manufacturers don't even try to make the figure as close to the anime as possible. They either make them too fat, too tall, too short, deformed heads, tiny heads, wrong color, too intricately detailed, or just decide to go with their own designs. But that is just how it is, and there's nothing we can do about it... Unless we start making our own! }D

Unless we start making our own! }D Exactly TMZ.Tom what Im saying is as accurate as possible, ofcourse there are some things that cant be perfect as its a cartoon. But its when companies take their own liscence is what is irritating. Some people collect robots because they like the way they look, they like robots,I collect them because they represent something I like, the Super robots in the anime.Or I would collect all types of Robots Im not going to buy a random Robot someone made because its cool.I buy because I want all the super robots represented in official animes.I dont want someones idea of what they think it SHOULD look like.I want it to LOOK LIKE the robot as much as possible,HLPro is doing something marvelous in hiding joints like with the GinGIn this is a great step in getting toward as accurate as possible.Vinyl is probably as close as possible and still retain articulation, but i dont like vinyl, unless its REALLLY REALLY good, and is of a Super robot I dont own already in Diecast or ABS. Its not snobbish to want these representations as close as possible without being statues or a cell from the show.As these toys get better and better I will replace the ones I have with updated ones, this is why i cant stand vintage,it does zero for me,unless its really kitschy and something not done modernly.I would never collect vintage versions of these Super robots, they are lame and hold no nostalgic appeal for me,and are just as redundant as a televison from 1945 for me.but the shows do! therefore only the best available at the time will do.

I actually like BOTH accuracy AND poetic license .. I just cant predict how Im going to react though, know what I mean? Like I HATE Fewture stuff just ugly... I love some vintage and sometimes I like stuff that is kind of stylized .. but it depends on the individual figure, know what I mean? Example, I love those dicast SD Getters and Grendys that came out.. I don't own any but I like how they look... it just depends. I have stopped trying to explain to myself because even I don't understand why some of it like and some of it I don't...

It's a endless debate, do you buy a certain toy because of the show or do you buy a toy based on the toy itself? The basis of any good toy is the source material, Anime, Manga, Video Games whatever. The value of the toy is based on how the actual figure was made and the engineering involved. I'm both, I love to collect because I'm a fan of the source material but at the same time I'm also a toy fan in that I can appreciate a toy just based on it's own merit. I like to play with my toys and fiddle with them just as much as I love to pose and display them. It's like being a Ford Mustang fan, do you buy it because you loved the original 64' and may even have one and love what it represented or do you buy the newest model that comes out because you just want the latest and greatest version of that Mustang.
Neither are wrong decisions, both should be respected.

I'm definitely one that buys because of the shows, so I want anime accuracy over everything else. Random action figures, as cool as they might look, just don't attract my interest... unless I'm gonna use them as random enemy-robots for the anime ones. Like your Mustang analogy, I would not spend a dime on the 1990's styling of the Mustang, even thou the 1964, and it's current restyling are my favorite USA Sports Car of all time. }D

That's a good way to put it Chen..."The Mustang/Camaro principal" that is what I am going to call that.. that is going to go along side with my "Even though that's not Chris Reeves face, its STILL SUPERMAN, principal."

Not to get too off topic but I bought the SRC Alteisen even though I'm not a huge SRW Anime fan but I figured I'd give it a shot. But the basic figure was so good I bought the blue TWE version just based off the regular SRC. On the other hand I bought the Gallat figure from Megahouse even though the Anime wasn't my cup of tea and the figure was so bad IMHO (stupid thing can't even stand on it's own lol) that I regret buying it so it can work both ways.
P.S I love the look of the brand new 2015 Mustang.

The 2015 doesn't look bad at all, I just hope they don't evolve slowly back into looking like rounded-off 1990s Jellybeans.. but the 2015 kinda evokes that "Mach 1-look".. pretty cool. "Its all 'Stang."

That's a great deal. I've always loved bikes, my buddy has a Ducati 1199 Panigale ordered. The thing rocks but it cost more then my car lol. I always wanted to get my license but since I broke my leg years ago I find it tough trying to ride. If I did I love R1's but on the flip side I also love custom choppers but there's a new electric motorcycle from Mission Motorcycles the R version. I find the concept intriguing, the fact that its one gear with instant torque, and the fact it had 160hp is very appealing. But alas my eyes are bigger then my stomach. That thing cost more then my buddies Ducati lol.

yeah electric isn't ready yet..the batteries are still the problem. The Panigale is nice but check out the EBR 1190 the numbers are even better.. still 40 Grand though.. I love the heavyweight twin class but they aren't that fun on the street.. you cant open them up, you run out of road too quick... ahahah 100hp and a bunch of torque on a tiny light little bike is what I like .. something real quick and nimble with real strong 0-90mph... the heavyweights you never access what you got, youre always "holding back".. its more fun to ride a slow bike really fast than it is to ride a really fast bike slow, if you now what I mean..

Yup it's more fun driving a car with a 100hp flat out then trying to hold back a car with 500hp from wrapping around a tree lol.

I love pick-ups, had two before I had to get something more "practical" lol. I do love the new 2015 GMC Heavy Duty's and would love to get a 3/4 ton crew cab with the diesel in it but I don't have $60,000+ right now to buy one boo hoo lol.
Back on topic, but do we have a release date or price for Gattaiger yet?
