ok yeah.. HLPRO said it says "Please Prepare 70.00 Euro, 1.00 euro charge only"... they were selling them at a toy show, they did not have cash for change .. so you could pay 70 or 69 euro... that's what it means.
HLpro said that the manga verison could be relased again in the future... probably Italy.

ok.. quick update on Gattiger.
there is a possibility that Gattiger could be released right off the bat in two color versions. The white normal version and a 500pc limited silver colored one.
This was told to me in a way that made me think that I was supposed to leak this info out to you... so, I am following my gut instinct and just dropping this on you guys.

Seems in most pics including this one of the Metaltech that Gattaiger is kind of a lavender/white is this the case for sure with teh final figure?as it seems very accurate,notice the color of Fleeds shirt compared to Gattaiger..   LOVE THIS VINTAGE!  |

in that vintage drawing, Gattiger is white, black and lavender.. I have not heard anything about a color scheme like that. HL is probably just going for the most common color scheme first. Red and white OR Red and Silver, your choice.
HL always seems interested in doing special colors later on in the life of the figure.. there is a possibility that the Black/ white color could appear in the future but that is just me talking... I did not hear that from HL. As a general rule, if a figure sells well they will do a different color variation later on after the first few batches sell out (character depending) A rare character like Gattiger, I don't think they will plan to sell very many batches of those, so If a second batch is ordered, its possible that you could get a color variant on that second production run. We just have to wait and see how it goes. I know a second color of Gin Gin is coming and that is just the second batch.. so I would think Gattiger production could follow a similar pattern.... but like I have stated.. this is my estimate not the words of HL.

As a personal comment, I would like to add that I really like this Gattiger as a character... he is quite different from other Super Robots. In Gattiger the main weapon is The Flying Tiger. The Tiger has all the powerful weapons on it and Roboizer himself doesn't carry any weapons. He just jumps out and punches stuff and wrestles with it when Fleed has to do something on the ground, up close and personal. So me personally as a collector, I am more interested in the Tiger than I am Roboizer. In the case of this character the Tiger is really where its at. .. AND with this release you have everything that is needed to display the Tiger with "Roboizer docked" inside the Tiger and Roboizer undocked and on the ground at the same time... so its like getting two stand-alone figures. So in my case, Roboizer is cool and everything but Im really focusing on the Tiger and happy to get Roboizer as a bonus.. its a unique situation with this character, The flying saucer was the real star of that movie. I cant wait to get it. I think I am going with the normal "white" relase though.. it will look better with my MT01 Manga. Over time I have grown to like my MT magna more than my MT chrome...

What I meant by decorated is if it is going to be painted like the vintage image below: The real question should be if the silver version will replace the white limbs, is it going to be painted like the vintage picture, or something else. |

yep... each wing articulated in two places.. at least that was the plan last I heard. I predict Zmaz will be one of HL's biggest hits.. I don't think it will sell in the numbers MT01 did but it will get a lot recognition, I think. |

I remember you saying Tom how they werent sure how to articulate the Pileder,looks as if they took points from the ET model,it looks to be exactly the same way as my ET Z-Mazinger pileder is done.That really is the only and simplist way to do it anyhow.

I think I remember them saying something about how they were afraid of how small the size of those joints had to be.. I think it should be ok though as long as its the right kind of plastic..

yeah, then I don't think HL would have had the chance to study one before they started theirs then.. I am not real good with dates but if memory serves, HL was showing me pictures of their version going back before that date.

I remember you mentioning it and at the time I had the et toy.But its absolutely impossible they may have looked at another existing toy design,as their thoughts are exclusively original to them,anything else is astronomically impossible. I 'm sure you'll come up with some reason why its impossible, as hlpro is the best gokin company out there and needs zero ideas from other companies or anyone else.That's why they listen to our suggestions here right? Sorry buddy it just gets a bit annoying how you never can even say or agree to anything even remotely negative about the company.Its actually kinda strange and unnerving.But I still like you.lol and ofcousre this is no reflection on HLpro as they themselves probably agree even the best artists have influences. |
