Im HAPPY paying for any modern classic SR toy to add to my collection with a figure and a ship for under 200 with shipping,especially with the bright colors and paint quality HLPro has.But hell Im spending 400$ on an ET garage kit unpainted in resin just because of the character and sculpt.LOL. Im not trying to disagree with anyone just my feelings,when is the last time anyone has honestly felt justified paying what we do for these ANY of these toys according to what is in the box?Some SOCs,yes,but rarely. I bet this thing is gonna be way nicer than the Grendy SRC with Spazer,and its gonna cost around the same in the end after getting both pieces,unless they do a deluxe set. None of it makes sense Baron, were grown men buying toy robots.. like I said before "Its emotion".. it isn't reason or logic. Kinda like the music business.  |

Any word on when the updated version Grendizer will be released by HL Pro? ET just released their version - the sculpt is great but the lack of die-cast and price disappoints me.

It strikes me so odd that a Version 2 of Grendizer was announced so long ago, but we have yet to see anything on it. Licensing issues? I don't know, but it's just really weird that HLPro's Rock Star character, Grendizer, has been put behind the likes of Gin-Gin, Gattaiger, and Z-Mazinger. Could it be that the MT-01 is still being milked? Of course, there is a black version of it coning out soon. Just, don't hold your breath for a Version 2 Grendizer any time soon...  }| |

In other words... Grendizer V2 project is mostly dead, or at least not important enough at this time.  Well, can't really blame HLPro. They continue to milk the MT-01 and make money of it. So, why even bother with a new Grendizer figure that will surely kill the continuos sales of the MT-01 repaints... I truly admire HLPro, but sometimes the decisions they make really disappoint me. }| |

I just realized that HLPro reminds me a lot of car companies. Every year they make these "concept cars" that never ever see the light of day. Grendizer V2, and I'm sure, the Kotetsu Jeeg, seem to be HLPro's concept cars... }| |

Heres my speculation..HLPro's aspirations and ours for a "Super Grendizer"V2 just are too high..articulation isnt HLPro's strong point,and they never claimed it to be,and I think what a V2 is supposed to be is just that very articulated and a super version ...I think joint hiding was a cool idea with Gin Gin even though its limiting.
Im guessing HLPro just wants to really deliver, and with the CMs dissapointment is a little shy to release anything less than stellar..so we all wait..and yes it does suck,and HLPro definately are not fast in delivering new items no matter what is said,its yet to be seen.
I for one am VERY happy with what characters they are choosing,just as ballsy as CMs,and some {golden chicken}are so ballsy I dont even want them hahaha,just kidding.But anyways...when V2 comes we all know it better be good,and I think that is what the hesitation is,its gotta be THAT good,even if it is a 5 inch or whatever figure..so until something great is dreamed up its in limbo.Im sure they have something on teh drawing board,but I bet its nowhere near complete..or to the satisfaction of HLPro or us for that matter..but I have faith..just not a lot of patience..LOL

Yes, but we know that no company, not even Sentinel or S.H.E., can ever dream to outdo Bandai in articulation engineering. None. I have no idea if the HLPro followers are asking for the Grendizer V2 and/or the Jeeg either. Maybe they are not that popular with the prospective buyers? There are a lot of Grendizers and quite a few Jeegs out in the market these days, with Bandai, ET, and even CM"s (RIP) putiing their stuff out first. Maybe HLPro took notice that the "stylized" SRC Grendizer did a lot better than predicted, and now Bandai is even releasing its Spacer. I don't know. I just know that it rubs me wrong when there is so much positive hype about an item I'm interested in, and then it just goes away like it never happened. Bandai dies tend to show off many SRC prototypes that never see the light of day, but they never really expand on them, unless they are going to be released for sure. That is what has my ballz twisted about the Grendizer V2. All the hype, and then just crickets at the end of the day.  I would adk HLPro on their facebook page, but they usually delete the comments/question they don't want others to see (true fact). }| |
