why because with the wrong paint scheme people confuse it with Mazinger? cause it looks good.. to you maybe,not to me.YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT TOM.As TMZ said what if Getter was sold with yellow arms or Voltes or whoever cuz it looks good...NO! get it now? Some of us like things true to teh source not some interpretation on a whim.Gee what if DC put out Superman in a pink outfit cuz it looks good to girls... |

The only color photo of Z Mazinger's forearm on a Manga I can find is showing his chest as kinda Blue, pelvis as kinda black and forearms kind of blue-black and waist kinda white-sliver-red.. the colors are across the board. Rest of the Manga just show his face and chest in basically "Mazinger Z" colors... I see why they went with that. Its probably just "Mazinger Z" colors. Other companies just did him black, that would work too.. he is kinda black, blue, purple... GO Nagai was "taking liberties" with his own character as he was drawing it.

Sorry I'm way too annoyed with what is going on here I'm not visiting this thread anymore and just wait for my amiami payment verification.I cant handle the silly things being done shown and said here...or the very uncanny and unnaturally odd defense of HlProducts by someone who clains he isn't even a real representative

yeah you do that.. there is just one drawing of that forearm in color that I can find.. and its not black. Its kinda bluish blackish purple.. but why? is that shadow? Just bc other companies copped out and when the easy route and went black, its supposed to be black? Its kind of open to interpretation if you ask me. If you look at the drawings of ZMazinger's face its regular blue.. like normal Mazinger Z colors.. but a lot of the other companies have him all black. Im not seeing that. In one of the ZMazinger covers they got his upper body as blue. Then on Mazinger Z manga sometimes hes all black too.. they use blue and black interchangeably it looks like.. just to give it more feel. But I think its pretty well accepted that Mazinger Z's forearms and shins are blue.. By looking at ZMazinger manga covers, the tone of the close ups of his face, it looks like he is basically the same color as Mazigner Z. Its open to interpretation man, I can see why HLPro interpreted it that way on the opening round. Besides, there are already black figures in existence, here is another way to interpret that character. By looking at the covers of the Manga I could see either color as being "legit".

Where are they? They let let things get this hot....this blog is really getting hostile.
I wont and cant do the mods job, nor i should.
Im certain nobody wants that including myself, because ill be a real bad cop.
I mean when things get this heated isnt it mods job to cool things down?

This blog used to be so supportive and had tons of brotherly love...
Now , its just full of flames and picking argument over littlest things. I really miss the days when everything was easy and i would come here to relax and shoot the breeze with like minded bros.
Really sad. We all should be child like with full of wonders and not childish petty angry. Big difference!
How long we gonna live crying aloud. Lets all relax and be civil to eachother.
We're all grown, we should be able to do that.

I guess the people who painted them at home are copouts right? Oh and its open to interpretation but if anyone besides HLPro colors it their way,like the right colors for instance its a copout? I GUARANTEE if HLPro tomorrow decides to paint it black youll have an excuse why now that way is right huh Tom? AND EVERYONE WHO EVER READ A COMIC BOOK knows blue and purple are HIGHLIGHTS FOR BLACK, again this is why i get irritated,sillyness.Tom why dont you develop your own opinion instead of HLProducts opinion,then you can socialize normally with other members here. |

There's a 3rd color version of Gattaiger, the silver version limited to 100 pieces. I'm pretty sure there will be a black version too.
