Baron...there is something called a business plan that established companies use to figure out investment plus profit, and yeah I'm just showing of to the few members here ... I just LOVE to show off. Tom mentioned the investment idea, and all what I did is asking for more elaborating.
Tom...does HLPro market, and distribute as well or do they just design and manufacture and it's up to investor to market and distribute? PM me if you want.
EDIT: I re-read your messages again, and it seems that HLPRO would design, manufacture the product, then it's up to the investor to distribute and sell these items. In this case then no, I'm not interested. Thanks anyway.

Including your purchases and maybe the square footage of your house you put your toys and boxes in and defintely a storage unit. Conventions, buying trips to Japan...

LOL... and you can call the figures you have them make "For Collectors Only - ##", leaving the name of the character out and avoiding any licensing issues! ;D Well, at least you'll make it harder for the license holders to mess with you. ;D

That's actually a very good idea. If I only have the time and the expertise in retail and merchandising.

You are absolutely right, the big question is always where is the time going to come from? About the storage its actually sort of a big deal since if you live in a many cities the value of space in your house can be $200 per square foot. I am not an art collector but people have mentioned they do this with art purchased as an investment.

for the Kind of money I was talking about there would be no licensing issues.. It would be the real thing.. a licensed product ..just depends on what the license costs for that character in the size you want..it would have "Hlpro" written on it, the name of the character and everything.. you would just have exclusive rights to sell and distribute it. Like the "ZPRO Jeeg" exclusive..

OK guys, word from HLpro is that Jin Jin will be ready in the first part of May. PBM will be getting "some".. not sure what that means, probably means "enough" to satisfy the small US market.. could mean that distributors will shuffle them between themselves as needed. Ill know more as the time gets closer. If anything goes wrong, Ill be sure to use whatever pull I have with Paul to make sure RJ players get thiers. "SOME" may mean only a few hundred.. so when I get the word Ill make sure to hit this thread and send PMs to guys that have expressed interest so we can bum-rush PBM the day they come up ready for sale.. if they sell out, it could be that those who didnt make it may have to wait a few weeks before more come our way... the other markets will probably drain them up pretty quick seeing that this is HLPros first "humaniod" enemy diecast robot... we just have to wait and see.

Do you know if hlpro will sell the JinJin through their website, like they did with GiruGiru? Do you know how much was the JinJin price tag as well?

That would be awesome! As a matter of fact, I bought my Giru Giru straight from HL Pro's site. I hope they decide to sell it there. }D

doesn't matter.. its coming out in every country at the same time for the same price. About $150 depending on exchange rate.

Actually, it does matter. Giru Giru was way cheaper at the HLPro website than everywhere else. $150 plus whatever $$$ shipping for Jin Jin is a pretty steep price. May have to think about it... }|

Based on Giru Giru, $150 was pretty much expected..... Like I thought, this is produced small amount catered to very VERY small market.
Not happy about the price either but it is what it is....prob gonna pass and wait to see Grendy V2 from them.

That was a number I through out there based on what HLpro said to me.. that its gonna cost around what Giru Giru cost.. also there is some other news brewing about Jin Jin but I got to wait for the official announcement. HLpro told me that the only factory direct they ever did on Giru Giru was the special anime verison.. Jin Jin is going to be a regular release and its going to only be sold through the normal distributor/retail channels so it wont be sold on their HLpro site.
