i will not pay the cost of a big combining soc figure for a little 6 or 7 inch metaltech figure unless it comes with a lot of accessories like the cm's jeeg did. no way NEVER!!!!
also if hlpro said the only thing they sold from the hlproshop.com was the sp girugiru they are lying. they sold the vegan soldier and the NEW 9 INCH VINYL CLASSIC GRENDIZER!!!! why would they have a shop if they will not sell out of it? that is the stupidest thing i have ever seen!!!!

HLpro will sell "limited editions" in the factory direct mode. Normal releases are made in much greater numbers and are ordered by Distributors. If the distributors don't order them, they aren't made. When Distributors order them , they belong to the distributors, HLpro has nothing to do with the price of them. Distributors then sell them at what they think the market value is. Hlpro is only the manufacturer they don't have anything to do with sales.. that's the distributors job.
Besides, pretty much every diecast robot they made was 150,, Grendizer was 150 once you included the Spazer.. so no big deal. Jin Jin is a robot with a Saucer.. comes with a stand and some accessories and a secret bonus item. Is it cheap? No, but none of this stuff is.. they aren't toys anyway, they are collectors pieces. I can go down to "Toys R Us" and buy a sh*t load of toys for $150 but what do you end up with? A whole pile of Monster High dolls and GI Joe that will be worth NOTHING in a few years.. no thanks, not for me.

Let's not compare Spazer to Jin Jin's little saucer halfs that gets attached to his hands...unless they are including a sperate closed saucer for Jin Jin that matches Spazer's size.
Giru Giru came to $115 including shipping for me, but if this Jin Jin goes for $150 then I'll need to reconsider. I love Grendizer's stuff since he is my favorite, but I'm not an idiot to overpay for an item just cause no one else is doing them. We shall wait and see.

yeah they just said around the same as Giru Giru.. I forgot how much I paid for mine.. 125 may be right. Depending on where you get it I guess 100-150. Something like that.
Like I said before, its all gonna depend on the distributor.. HLPro doesn't have much to do with it.

The sooner you realize that these are all Toys = Action Figures, the happier you will be. People wanna call them all sorts of other names, but at the end, they are nothing but pricey action figures that a 10 year old would love to play with. Did you know that SOCs are sold in ToysR Us in Japan. But, I have to disagree with you on your ToysR Us analogy bro. I know of many Barbies, GI Joes, Hot Wheels, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, etc stuff that sells there goes up in price as the years go by. Japanese Super Robots are not the only collectibles man! }G

yeah sold in Japan for shockingly cheap prices sometimes too.. it all just depends on how big the order was. The more they order the more the price goes down.
I guess it all just depends on perspective. If anyone thinks these robots are too expensive, DONT get into motorcycles, especially sport bikes. Once you've dropped $150 on some carbon fiber heel guards or $300 or some kind of stupid carbon sub-frame that saves you one pound of sprung weight, cool little robots for $100-$150 start looking like a real good deal. I spent $350 on a race battery the size of a piece of toast that saved me 9 lbs over a stock battery. Then I know guys that spent $3000 in carbon to only save 3 lbs off their bikes. Robots are nowhere near insane as bikes.. especially if you start getting into big-bore kits, Supercharging and engine internals..Ill introduce you guys to a dude I know who put $5,000 into the engine of a $3000 motorcycle in order to get an extra 60hp so his Buell XB could be faster than everyone elses XB.. no folks, collecting robots is nowhere NEAR expensive and insane as the motorcycle addiction.

LOL... I don't get it. Motorcycle fans spend all that money to decrease the weight of their racing motorcycles a couple of pounds? How about loosing some weight instead? It's easy, healthier, and it's free! ;D But back to the Jin Jin, if it sell for as much as the Giru Giru, I'm in. If they go for $150 plus shipping, I may not be in. I just can't convince myself dropping so much on so little... Like that guy on Ebay selling a pre-release Jin Jin for $150 plus anothe $50 for shipping... CRAZY!!! }D

well they diet also if they are racing. Motorcycles are all about power to weight ratio.. dropping 5 lbs off of a bike sometimes is the same as freeing up 1 horsepower for added acceleration .. 1 extra horsepower is a big deal on a 388 lb bike that only makes 103 hp.. Bikes are all about numbers. Drop a few grand in engine mods to get some extra horsepower, spend a bunch of money to drop the weight to free up even more HP, then try to get the rider as light as possible to free up even more for a much better power to weight ratio and that makes one guy smoke another guy on the exact same model bike.. sport bikers are "number chasers".. cost a lot of money to chase numbers.

The most wasteful hobby I have seen is the fireworks celebrations for the 4th of July and New Years. I met a guy who would literally purchase over $1000.00 of fireworks every year, for his own 4th of July celebration in his back yard! Talk about money to burn!

Golf is pretty bad too.. it cost more to Golf at one of those big clubs than it does to race Rallycross... they proved that this season on Top Gear UK.

$150? I can see why they can charge that but ill have to have one in my hands to see if its worth it, its not Grendizer which your pretty sure will sell in big numbers but a villain. But just goes to show the difference in scales of economy and character. The new SOC Danguard will be larger with arguably more engineering put in it but sell for around $30 bucks less. But what HLPRO has going for it is character rarity in merchandise and its connection to a show that is arguably more popular then Danguard. I just find it interesting.

Its a "risky" character, I actually don't think many will be made but Im absolutely sure that each and every one of them will sell in about a year or so. I think with this piece they have targeted the hardcore collector only, for the time being. Now if it sells out real quick at a good return, they may run it again but don't count on it. Im not sure if there are enough hardcore Grendizer collectors out there to absorb two runs.. at least for a while that is. Yeah the price is high but the rarity and the collectors value will be high also. 5 years from now, guys will wish they would have gotten it I think. Im "all in" Im going to get it..
