No its not the ZPRO Jeeg, that is a known project. This is something never seen before. I think HLPRO wont mind me telling you this, though... the articulation system is very innovative, even SOC doesn't use it yet and I predict Bandai will copy it when they see it. No gaps anywhere and its as close to a drawing as you can get and still have articulation. This is a game-changing figure. I predict that HLPRO will use it on dicast figures from now on when it applies. I saw what looked like stuff that can change a lot of the chogokin industry.. for the better. Its definitely HLPRO showing what they can do without copying other companies. As long as the mass production is executed properly, this is gonna be a BLOCKBUSTER figure for them. It is in the Metaltech scale but this is a whole new Metaltech.. when you guys see it you guys will instantly buy it.. the design the character all of that. its a masterpiece. Is it Arale Chan from Dr.Slump?   |

Hmmm ... seamless joints? Is it izen borg ? I would have loved that, but based on the comment below, I would say it's from the Mazinger Universe.  I think Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Mazinkaizer SKL, and shin Mazinger are out of the question since HLPRO wants to be unique and they were released before, so that leave us with one the following: -Mazinkaiser (maybe not cause there are couple good ones out there) -God Mazinger -Z Mazinger -MazinSaga -Mazinger USA version (doubt it) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE GOD MAZINGER!! |

I dont know if you are joking anymore, but that silly made for toddlers character should not even be in this thread. It gets boring to keep seeing it brought up in comaprison to actual super robots.

she is a robot but not a metaltech robot and i dont think metaltech will even consider making her ever, they only focus on real classic super robots right now.

I thought the Blue and Gold God Mazinger was the actual robot. The Stone version is just its Sleep Mode, right?

Yeah, but just going by the some of Manga covers and pictures it would be easy to think that the statue mode and the awake mode were two different robots. Plus it didn't help that the mini Mazinsaga shorts had God Mazinger looking like a mix of both modes.

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting yet ANOTHER Mazinger figure but it would be nice if it was totally different or had more changes then just a different Breast Fire plates or subtle face or proportion changes. Something that you can tell it's in the Mazinger family but just isn't a slight variation on the original.
But on the other hand it could be Gattaiger too since that would be even closer to Grendizer but not in the Grendizer family.

Yeah I think they had a vinyl or plastic toy of Gattaiger plus I hinted awhile back about their FB profile pic. Its the Gattaiger version of Duke Fleed.
