you guys are coming up with some real good ideas on what its gonna be but at this point anything more I could say could be taken as a "hint".. Im gonna just let your guys stew in it for a while. When the details of how the articulation worked was explained to me and the details of a few other things, we were saying that this was the kind of stuff that Bandai would be temped to copy or they will be inspired by it at least. There are some real good, never before seen Ideas that are gonna be seen as pure "HLPRO signatures" in their designs. No doubt they in some cases will be kinda polarizing but they strike a new dimension to HLPROs brand identity. The sculpt is pure "HLRO" at the level of Gin Gin and beyond. More features, better engineering but still "play-friendly".. no overcomplicated cheesy gimmicks, just soild anime-correct function. Sculpt is top-notch in the MT scale.. it looks like something they drew on the back of their boxes, looks like the same artist in my opinion. No gaps that I could see.. looks like one solid figure but it has articulation on the level of Gin Gin or MT01 at the minimum, probably MORE.
don't take me the wrong way when I mention the box artwork.. I am not saying that the next one was drawn on the back of a box, just saying it looks like a "HLpro drawing".. looks real good.

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting yet ANOTHER Mazinger figure but it would be nice if it was totally different or had more changes then just a different Breast Fire plates or subtle face or proportion changes. Something that you can tell it's in the Mazinger family but just isn't a slight variation on the original. But on the other hand it could be Gattaiger too since that would be even closer to Grendizer but not in the Grendizer family. Good point...I've seen Gattaiger long time ago on the artist web page but he had to remove it plus other designs as well....but since no one is betting on Z Mazinger, I'll take the chance on him

I got an email from PBM, they are bringing the vinyl Mazingers back. The 12 inch articulated, the 15 inch Marmit FLOSR version (in two different colors), and the 24 inch Jumbo Mazinger. They are priced right too! }D

No that's no joke.. it is from a series that HLpro likes. I have never seen it. They said it came from some kind of "mystery island" Kind of like "Land of the Lost" maybe? I think they are working on this as one of the future designs. Maybe it will be a Metaltech, maybe the will just release it as a solo project? Its probably aimed more towards the Japanese and Middle Eastern markets? Keep in mind the US market is only 2 percent of their total sales. No announcement on this project has been made yet.. I am not familiar with this character at all so Im not sure Im interested yet. It would have to be super cool for me to get one.

The name is "Mysterious Cities of Gold"...here is the theme for it: I'm not expecting them to aim their products towards the US market either, but this is BIG thumps gown for me since it will take a lot of resources that can be used towards other projects...oh well.

relax guys.. I doubt that is going to be a Metaltech. Keep in mind that HLpro makes a bunch of different stuff. Vinyls, mugs, dicasts, t-shirts.. and they also have a sense of humor. Just roll with it. ha ha They could just be messing with us.. ha ha they could also be judging reactions to it... I cant say.

I never bothered to get an HL Pro item, but I am seriously thinking on pre-ordering the Metaltech Gin Gin to keep my soon to be SRC Grendizer company. Also for those of you that own HL Pro's jumbos, how good are they? I am seriously considering in getting the 24-inch Grendizer and the European exclusive Jeeg.

Mystery city of Gold? A What? I really hope it's a joke GS, it's not a funny joke though.. Just when I have an interest with HLPro and seriously impressed with Gin GIn, It throws a curve ball to itself... WHY, why would HLPro do that?
